GATE, your rank must be in top 50. The course is really unique if you're interested in merchandising, retail planning and operation management. It's a unique course one in itself and hones your creative and analytical skills.

The course includes wide range of subjects from marketing management to fashion orientation, to marketing research to merchandising,it's like an overall mix.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, internships are provided and stipend depends upon course to course, fashion design around 10-15k, master courses around 20-25k.

Placements depends upon your skill average package for bachelor courses is 2.5-3 lakh per annum for master courses is 5-6 lakhs per annum.
College Events
There are different departments managing different events,there is a literary club, sports club, cultural club and social service club. Every club works in their own way for celebrating a certain event, say independence day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure depends on course to course, since it's a government college, fee structure is affordable but some courses say, fashion design,knit wear design require a lot of additional stationary. it adds up to the cost.

The fee structure is around 4-5 lakhs on average ,most students don't opt for loans, there's Union Bank providing educational loans here though.
Campus Life
Well, you don't see guys here, since it's a fashion related institute you find here a lot of girls. There's a lot of extra curricular activities and there are also trend setting activities.
Hostel Facilities
Mess food is horrible, the people providing mess food think they're chef's so there's an attitude but in reality they just can't cook and probably,they don't care. Hostel is good, there's a lift, tiles on the floor nicely painted and an attached bathroom.
Exam Structure
There are subjects which are process based (no exams) but still 50% of the subjects in the curriculum are exam based.
