Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since our college is under VTU, our college doesnt not have much say in that matter. They must abide by the rules set by the University board and that they follow perfectly. But recently our college has attained the status of autonomous, so henceforth we may be able to see a different and a much more improved version of our college.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many companies like Accenture, Phonepe, Infosys, Capgemini, Flipkart, Texas instruments and many more. Internship and stipend depends on the individual and how he precedes the specific task. We do have to submit projects, thesis and synopsis for graduating and marks and also for our overall development.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement drive starts from 7th sem. Because of this recession period, placement has fallen drastically. In the previous batches there have been a mix of criterias, the highest was 21 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. I am waiting for the placement drive, if I am able to join a good company, I'm set else I might think about doing my higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the fees has a hike of 10%. The CET fees was 90000 and college fees was 10000. By the time I finish engineering, I would have paid 130000 for my final year. Comparatively our college fees structure is very affordable.

Campus Life

4

We don't have a lot of fests but we do have good ones. Sapthrang is our cultural fest. They try to make sure it is a bang. Since our college is very well architecturised. They put a very big temporary canopies which is a brilliant way of time and money conservation and yet effective. Library has almost any book that you need. There are smart boards in classroom and our campus is wifi enabled.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. I did not have to write any entrance exam as I was entering through CET. Even in the admission department, it was very well organised and we were not mde to wait longamd very attended efficiently. They can make the admission department or the office a bit more accessible and big.

Faculty

4.5

There are a lot of brilliant faculty members who are extremely well versed in their respective fields, I would say the majority of the faculties are very good. Not only are they good in their fields but they also make us feel like home and they never try to portray themselves as people who are different from all of us. They are friendly but at the same time they know very well how to behave with students.

Placement Experience:

At VVCE, The Training and Placements (TAP) is quite active. the highest package is 41 LPA and the placement percentage is 70-80% for the students who meet the eligibility and training requirement. Average package is around 4-6 LPA Top recruiters include companies such as Accenture, Bosch, SAP labs, L&T, IBM, HP and others. Students are eligible for campus placement when they reach their final year of engineering and fulfil the TAP's criteria. Internships begin in 6th-7th semester for students who get selected. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a top compaany where i can level up my career and gain insights on the industry.

The teaching methods are same as that 30 years before teaching methods teach teach words there in a test book. They don't go further. They don't try to make tests to learn new skills that is the same old stuff. The same C++ program and the basic Python and the PC branch is the first branch in the college as they say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ( Computer Science and Engineering ) comes from VTU , which provided all the content to be studied , it's affiliated with govt so the contents are very important and much needed for our future . We are taught some technical skills as well as communication skills in the college which helps us a lot in the future Overall CS Engineering has a lot of scope but lacks opportunities in placements since they are lakhs of CS engineers getting placed . But learning a special skill like Dev ops , Web development and AI makes us unique and makes us an highlight in the group so the companies can pick us for our skills
