Experience of a final year student

The course design is excellent most of the subjects are industrial standards there are frequent exams and surprise test and assignments etc. They provide specialization courses for CSE in different domains which really pulled my attention

On campus Internship are not available but placement cell is going to provide lots of internship opportunities to students in different companies but very few able to grab the opportunity overall if your worthy you may get an internship opportunity

Placements are offered if you opt for dcpd which has charges Lots of companies came to campus for placements but a very few pay well rest you get 3-5 lakhs only Placements are not 100 % they are lying in there advertisement i will say less than 50% get placed

Tuition fees are fixed for you and not going to increase till you graduate Total tuition fees of mine is 720000 They provide scholarships on the basis of entrance exam cucet from10% to 100% depending upon your performance in the exam but if you fail to secure 7.5 cgpa your scholarship will be removed and you have to pay full fees

There are lots of fests and activities year round big bollywood stars and punjabi artists are invited on fests. Lots of clubs are there like dancing modeling etc. There are technical clubs as well but they are not as functional as non technical clubs

Hostels are good your hostel life will going to be fun mess food is okay there are lot of shops there so no issues of eating out Hostels are affordable There are also lots of options if you want to live in a flat or pg From luxurious flats to normal accommodation all are available nearby campus But campus is located 30 km from Chandigarh and is in Punjab nearby kharar

There is entrance exam cucet for admission you can also opt for direct admission on the basis of your school grades or anything if they are telling you that seats are limited or admission is closing you don't worry admission are open year-round and seats are unlimited

There is very bad student to faculty ratio specially in final year there are 120 students in one section Faculties are mostly under qualified most of them are phd students from cu itself and work here as assistant professor and only they are going to take classes i never seen a professor in 4 years Teachers are rude (except some) they are not going listen you
