Campus area and facilities , hostels and anti ragging
Ranked among the Asia's Best & Fastest Growing Private Universities by WCRC. Since the commencement CU's reputation has grown manifold as a credible and ethical education institute among its peers to recognition by both national & international organ
CU Collab with most of the international companies and provide better opportunities to get a good career.

Dislikes

There are some hostels which are as least 10 km from the college.
There is more intake of CSE students beyond my expectations

There are many students who have been placed in this course (BE CSE).There are many students who have been alumni of this college.For example Indian cricketer Arshdeep Singh. Timings of the exams is sufficient and difficulty of exam is moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees of the BE CSE course is 131500 per semester and examination fee is 2500. You can also get scholarship upto 100% only you have to give CUCET exam so that you can get scholarship and you can maintain the scholarship by maintaining 7.5cgpa.

Campus Life

In Chandigarh University, you can get a great campus life . You can get good hostels with great facilities and the campus is so big that you have been excited to explore. There are Student - run clubs also which will help you to enhance your skills.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is to get 60% above in PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and for Master program you should above 60% in Bachelor's degree. The timings of exams is good and difficulty of exams is moderate.

In this university, faculties are so good that you have imagined. As there are many students who cooperative and help there students so that they can achieve what they want. Facilities of Chandigarh University is so helpful which will help you in better communication, good at skills ,etc.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
