My college life

My college is affiliated with VTU and there are different schemes for various batch students and every 5 year scheme changes and the marks are both 50/50 that is 50 marks for internals and 50 marks for externals but we need to write the external exam for 100 marks which will be converted to 50 and there are various extra subjects as well for better knowledge of students

Various opportunities are available for students and also the department is ready with the list of companies which are willing to give internship to students and help us get internship so we learn about the industry standards and get knowledge about the same

Students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from their 7th semester and for placement, a student should have all his backlogs and should have a decent cgpa The average package tends to be around 3-8 LPA, depending on the industry and the student's skill

College fees are to be paid during even semester and usually, there are no extra fees collected and If we pay the fees late they charge a fine amount of 200 per day for late fees and there are various types of scholarships that you can get to know from the scholarship department.

Cultural Festival (SAPTARANG): The annual cultural fest, usually held in [March/April], is one of the highlights of campus life. It features a variety of events, including dance, music, drama, literary competitions, DJ night, etc. The technical fest is usually during September/ October in this fest there are a variety of events that is hackathons, robotics, coding tool walks, etc.

I haven't been in hostel but many of my friends stay in hostel according to hostel rooms are good and i also have tasted hostel food it is quite good and they usually serve non veg on Wednesday and Sunday and there are also students who stay in near by pg or have rented a house near by.

The admission process is quite easy and simple there is no unnecessary work and talks about from college and for eligibility for addmission we need to have a minimum of 60 % in both 10th and 12th for management quota and for cet we need to get a seat through cet counseling and same for Comet-k

All faculties are highly graduated and most of the faculties have done there PhD and have minimum 10 years of teaching experience and all the teachers are highly knowledgeable and are ready to reach out to students and help them all the time

There are various types of GD and training given to students and also placement training is also given to students on how to give interview and personality development and other type of training given by the clg
