Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is decent. It includes most of the courses that have demand in the present industry. The curriculum helps the student ability to understand the concepts better and includes almost all the different domains that are available in job market. AI, ML, Cloud computing, Block chain technology, MEAN stack developement, DSA, programming languages C, OOP C++, Java, Python. And also Computer networks, Operating systems, Distributed Systems etc. are the part of our curriculum. All these courses are necessary for a student to get a job. When it comes to the exams, we have a mid exam every 2 months. And there are 2 mids. Then internals, externals lab exams are conducted and finally semester exams on alternate days. The level of difficulty of these exams is medium.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are very few internship oppurtunities available. Basically they are paid internships and we have to pay them and do the work. This experience is not a valid experience outside world. I would say the internships oppurtunities in our college is a negative thing. There are very few internships in our college that are actually useful like IDEA lab internship. It is a real time internship and it is helpful for your work experience. These internships include various fields of technologies such as machine learning, full stack developement, cloud computing using AWS, block chain, java internship etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Generally the placements start after 6th semester. Many tech companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Sify technologies, Accenture, IBM etc. visit our campus and offer many placement oppurtunities for students. During the recession time it was quite tough but now it became normal and the companies are recruiting well. Core companies such as boson motors etc. also hires the non tech students. The average package for CSE is around 4-5 lpa. Highest package is 42lpa. The college training and placement cell tries to provide a 100% placements. But generally it is around 90%. For me , I have other plans in life to study abroad and gain more skills in tech industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee per year is 1,40,000 rupees. If you are a hostel student then you have to include those charges seperately. Usually they charge 7000-9000 per month for hostel. For day scholar student they charge 20,000 - 25,000 per year for bus (Bus fee differ by your location). Complete education cost will be around 5.6 lakhs tution fee. You also have to pay for a fee of 10,000 rupees while joining (This includes sports, library and other facilities). We used to get a complete fee reimbursement from the government. There are also other scholarships such as NSP etc.

Campus Life

4.5

Fests and annual days are celebrated very well. Tech fests like nipuna, spurthi etc. are conducted every year. Generally every semester we have a technical fest or cultural fest. We have an annual day once an year. Our college library has vast number of books of wide range of domains. Library is spacious and there recently they expanded the library providing extra rooms to study. Books, Journals, newspapers and previous year exam papers etc. are available in our library. There are also many clubs for every department. ISTE, CSI, YES+, language nest are some of the clubs in our college that focuses not only on our academics but also overall development.

Admission

Admission process is very transparent. We get into a college based on our eapcet ranks. It is an entrance exams that is considered by almost all colleges in Andhra pradesh. With decent rank you can get into a good college. There are reservation benefits and it is very helpful for them. You can check the eapcet portal to know the exam timings and details. Difficulty level of this exam is easy-medium. If you're preparing for JEE mains or advanced then this is a piece of cake for you.

Faculty

4

There is a 1:10 faculty to student ratio. There are not many professors in our college. Most of them are mtech graduates. Some faculty don't have much knowledge over the subject, they simply read display the ppt using the projector and finishes their syllabus. Interaction with the faculty is good. Even during mid exams if we have any health issue or any other reason and couldn't attend the exam, we can request the HOD of the department and ask our faculty to conduct the exam for us later. It's not applicable for semester exams. It is mandatory to attend the semester exams without fail.
