What Students Say

Likes

They were having experienced teacher and their teaching style was very good
The exam pattern was pretty convinient. It was easy to crack exam if student pay attention in class
No pressure of project deadline as the teacher was very knowledgeable to understand students need

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is bit old for the morden word
Washroom were very bad and not a single washroom was on one floor
The canteens were not maintained properly for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course taught me more about corporate life. And about tax and different aspects of business and management. As the course was more about management. It basically contains that only. In my opinion, bcom hons is more knowledgeable than bcom

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was pretty high for course like bcom hons in a government College as bcom fees was only 14000 per semester and bcom hons fees was 28000 per semester, as this college is a government College the fees should be more convenient. scholarship are being provided but with the terms and conditions applied.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is pretty historic and students enjoy that , only the canteen area is not renovated much , it is still old fashioned. And unhygienic. Council should take care that also . The social interaction is pretty well in Lucknow University campus. I enjoyed my campus life with my College mates.

Admission

As my addmission was during COVID time . That time the admission was done on the basis of 12th grade percentage merit . But LU conduct their own exams for taking admission in the college . The process is smooth but the waiting time is more.

Faculty

The faculty members were very knowledgeable and was very keen to teach as there teaching style was very convenient and if you ask anything related to subject they will reach you for help . They contain professionalism in there teaching.

Placement Experience:

Mostly students do masters and other course like ca cs after bachelors. In final years the students become eligible for campus placement. Companies that visited for placement are HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank ,Wipro, LIC ,SBI . The average package is around 3 to 5 lakh per annum . Highest highest package offered to faculty of Commerce student is around 40 lakh per annum by Aditya Birla and federal Bank. Around 20% students get placed each year with average starting package of around 3 to 5 lakh. I have planned for masters after the degree

Placements in my college is quite interesting to be discussed about because top companies do come to BHU because of its excellent students. After 3rd sem one can apply for Placements. Avg package is 3 lakh which is quite a good start. My plan is to do internship after the college.

I love accounts that's why I chose Bachelor of commerce and the faculty was also very good. Almost all the teachers had done PHD. This course made me very well prepared for the real world. They had this internship program in the final year of the course which helped students so much. The exams were conducted semester wise. The exam were very simple like if you study well then you can pass the exam easily but if you not then there's nothing one can do.

Remarks:

The management is fine however the committee elections are happening on a periodic basic. Also there is good understanding between the management and the academic counsil of the college. I didn't remember any such mess between managing committee and academic / support staff.

Structure of LU new campus.

I think the college curriculum is good as compare to private college. There is no 9:00 to 5:00 pm working for students. Some college is good because they have good faculty and exposure.There is moderate exposure. I applied private college but can't get because of some money issues.
