Things I personally like about this college are clinical exposure provided here because it's a tertiary level hospital in whole Haryana state
Huge campus area with central library, reding hall, auditorium facilities
Various webinars, seminar, to enhance skills and knowledge of students

Dislikes

Shortage of staff in college of particular areas in nursing
Lack of clinical instructor at clinical postings
Lack of simulation lab and skill labs in college

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently there's curriculum update has been seen which makes students more prepared for real world applications. As the update is based on clinical scenarios and application of knowledge for skilled management of clients in hospital setting.

Internships Opportunities

Our college proved us better opportunities for internship and a basic stipend for students. Overall college's of haryana our is the only one to provide this opportunity because of tertiary level hospital setting.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no campus placement kind of things but the fee structure are reliable as taking care of the course provided by college. Stipend is provided to students getting admission in BSc course. Scholarship like post metric scholarship are provided for eligible candidates.

Campus life is quite good yearly fests like ARMSCON occurs which include all medical field together apprtunity to show there talents and enjoy there time. Annual sports meet occurs, extracurricular activities are also held on special occasions

Admission

Admission in this course occurs through CET (common entrance test) based on merit list of candidates as various other courses like paramedical and BPT course are also availed with this enterennce, application form is available on site of uhsr and after result release counselling session occurs to select candidates. Exam of CET is medium difficulty level with no negative marking and about 180 question are asked of PCB subject of 11th and 12th standard

Faculty

Teachers are approachable, skilled and qualified professionals teach students. Teachers are always ready to help students. Faculy to students ratio in slight more but the college management is good so less chaos occurs.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for nursing students. About 100% of students get placement in nursing. Many companies like Appolo, BLK, Medanta, civil hospital, Sgt hospital, max Hospital, offered placements based on marks obtained and the staffing experience of the students. it's not necessary to get a place in this hospital you can try in other hospitals too. After completing the course, you can go abroad to work or even to study further. The mock interview also is there to prepare students before the actual placement procedure so that students don't get nervous and get the idea of how to do the interview.

Firstly this college is well maintained and patient flow is very good as compare to other dental colleges of Haryana,I also got offer from Swami Devi dyal dyal dental college punchkula and yamuna dental college, yamunanagar and pdm dental college bhardugrah etc they are giving me very huge scholarship but at there patient flow is not good for practice as dentistry is degree of practice you have to chose that college where patient flow is good or decent...Read More

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college. A common entrance exam is conducted by UHSR. It is a state level exam. Question paper level is moderate.
