The admission for BSC nursing in SGT University strictly followed by eligibility criteria prescribed by INC and as well as University guidelines. For getting admission in BSc nursing one should be have a percentage of more than 55 in core subjects and have a minimum education of 10+2. The minimum age limit for nursing is 17 or more. The admission process is kinda smooth, firstly they provide you with all information regarding your course and also provide a helping booklet. And then there is a scholarship pattern for the minorities and there will be a deduction in 1 semester college fee with the help of the 12th percentage. According to 12th percentage in core subjects (physics chemistry biology and English), there will be a decrement in fees. They also provide education counselling if needed and that is free of cost.

My reason for choosing this university because of the infrastructure and the way of communication among students and faculties. Classes are classified as per year of nursing course, the maximum number of students in each class/year is 100. And there will be 2 teachers assigned to each class (class coordinator and class co-coordinator). There is strictness in nursing. And teachers make sure students following each rule and regulations. There is 3-4 internal examination and one year exam and class test also conducted within internal examinations. There is both MCQ as well as long questions in question papers. The final exam paper always seems Lil lengthy, but it's not hard to complete and score.

This is compulsory in Sgt University that every nursing student have to do their internship in Sgt hospital itself for 6months. And between this time students get posted to other hospitals as well for exploring and understanding more hospital protocols. Like civil hospital for more paediatrics and gynac experience. In that internship time, it's compulsory for each student to get hostels because there is also night shifts. In our college, there is NRSC(simulation lab) where students get trained firstly on speaking dummies then on real life patients in Sgt hospital as well as other hospitals.

Placement is good for nursing students. About 100% of students get placement in nursing. Many companies like Appolo, BLK, Medanta, civil hospital, Sgt hospital, max Hospital, offered placements based on marks obtained and the staffing experience of the students. it's not necessary to get a place in this hospital you can try in other hospitals too. After completing the course, you can go abroad to work or even to study further. The mock interview also is there to prepare students before the actual placement procedure so that students don't get nervous and get the idea of how to do the interview.

Total fees for this course is almost 7 lakh for 4 years. But it can change as per University policies. for each semester fees is 87500 and for the year is 175000. There are special privileges for minorities students, Jammu and Kashmir students and of course, students who are having a Haryana domicile, are rewarded with some scholarship which is generated by the government. There is one more scholarship for the students who score more than 75% per year in university exam and having 90% attendance are rewarded with some money by college authorities. During admission also there is scholarship according to 12th percentage in 4 subjects (English chemistry physics biology) that will help to reduce some amount from 1 semester University fees.

The infrastructure of the college is very good and the environment is also soothing. proper plantation, gardening, everything is in a good way. In my college the best things are fest. There is different kind of fest like Holi fest, Diwali fest, symphonious (singing fest). And for the guest there always be some great personalities arrive like Akshay Kumar, Anushka, Milind Gabba, Pulkit, Badshah,bauua and many more. Proper availability of books are there in the library, students can get book whenever they want to. They just have to mention their name and course for extracting any book for a time being. late submission of the book gives a penalty to individual. The classroom is big and contains a projector whiteboard. In every classroom, there is cameras and AC. There are large windows too for proper ventilation.!! Every year there is a sports day conducted in our university. and it's not according to particular faculty. it's a mix match sports day! There is a recreation club for every student as per their interest on Thursday
