Insightful yet limited

I would rate it fairly relevant especially for students who are aiming for psychology or high level in fields of psychology i choose this course because i already have keen interest in psychology like studying human mind and behaviour and it have subject like abnormal psychology, statistics, counselling psychology, therapy plus they have labs, clinical training and all the euipment which make this course fun and interesting and this curriculum does prepare students well for further academic

the internships affiliation included organisations like fortis mental health, VIMHANS, mind piper, ngos such as manas foundation and umeed. Roles typically involved clinical observation, therapy sessions, taking histories these internships were unpaid but offered exposure In my internship i worked with ngo focused on child mental health it helped me build communication skills and understand client behaviour in real world context Sgt required submission of project report at the end of internship including daily logs and reflections this helped reinforce learning and made experience academically valuable.

In your last year or 6th semester you become eligible for campus placement They have lot of companies visit like google, amazon, aajtak, tcs, viacome, vodafone and 100+ offers were made form different departments You can get offer of 2lpa to 5lpa it depends on your skills. 40% of students get placed every final year Getting more degrees and completing a phd was my goal

I haven't got any scholarship i have completed my bachelor's in clinical psychology from sgt university it was total around 3 lakhs and i also opt for hostel. Hostels fees vary according to which hostel you opt for like a 4 sharing room where 4 people live together and then two sharing rooms so that's your choice and if your budget is good you can opt of 2 sharing that will cost you around 4 lakh something and then 4 sharing is about 2 lakh something. Teachers are really good.

You have holi fest in march, diwali fest in October and lot of extra curricular activities like synergy in December and flash mobs in augusts I don't have much information about library's i wasn't a library student You get a big classroom with three rows ac, projector, presentation equipment all are present in the class there is not any restrictions about girls and boys cant sit together and all they believe in studies and treat all equally They have basketball court, dance room, any sprots things too like you can get anything realted to sports if you ask them Every drama have their own teacher like dance club, sports club, you can talk to them plus there is student welfare program also every student have one mentor to talk

I stayed in the hostel at sgt. Overall it was a decent experience with some pros and cons the rooms were maintained and come with basic facilities like bed study table chair and cupboards and an washroom some roomes were shared like 4 sharing or two sharing two sharing were available at a high cost The hostel also provided WiFi and common areas like gym, study room, tv room, game room. Housekeeping was done regularly In terms food the mess provided three meals a day along with tea and snacks the menu roated weekly and usually included vegetarian options. Food quality is average The hostels register process is smooth and handle during admissions phase students had to fill out a form and select room preference the hostels fees was affordable compared to private pgs in Gurugram and include electricity and maintenance charges fees varied slightly based on room type and Ac. For students who opted not to stay in hostels there were pgs and rented flats available nearby farauknagr sector 89, basai, but they often required daily travel arrangements some students preferred these for more freedom and food flexibility. However the locality around sgt is semi urban so while its peaceful option outside campus are limited and may not suite everyone. Transportation like autos and cabs are available but not as frequent late at night.

I applied for amity university noida i got the call from this too but i didn't choose this university as i heard lot of bad reviews about the university so then i choose sgt university i choose this because it is the only university who have hospital inside the campus that is a plus then their fees was affordable. I didn't get rejection from universities as i online applied in two amity and sgt . Though private university generally except your form so if you are applying to a private university there is less chance you will get rejection Admission process is easy you just have to visit the admissions office of the university with documents like your school marksheet, character certificate and migration certificate from school and you have to submit those documents pay the 25000 admission fees then that's it you can start coming to the university whenever their academic year start come to university settle in you hostel and pay the semester or yearly fees. You should have 72% attendence to sit in the exams. You can reappear for exam too if you were able to give it for any reason. Admissions process is simple and exams cutoffs they dont have that if you are pass in your 12th you can get admission

I did my bachelors from sgt university faculty is supportive they help you a lot be it for extra classes or any doubts you can approach them they make time for you from there busy schedule. I liked mrs astha dhingra she was best professor i ever had she was amazing teacher help you guide you . You can approach her anytime as i did psychology so it was allied health department and she was my professor of bsc in clinical psychology i liked my faculty they were approachable and helped me a lot it was three year course and they have semester wise exam so it was six semesters and before your semester exam you have to give internals also and there is assignments and presentations and mark would be mixed of your internals and semesters exam it is ratio of 30 and 70 % . Exam werent too difficult passing rates was reasonable almost every student pass in this university you just have to be present and that's it you will be graduating in no time.

The nightlife around sgt is relatively calm and laid back as the campus is located in a mote suburban area of gurugram while its not typical city campus with buzzing nightlife, students still find ways to unwind and enjoy their time after classes
