The overall quality and infrastructure of ky college was found to be better than other pharmacy college because the way the proffessors gave the notes and the way they take the classes is far better than other pharmacy colleges as in my way of opinin
When i first joined my college principal and the management gave me classes regarding the long duration of the course although they supported me mentally and physically for my carrer delvelopment overall was very good
The infrastructure of my college was found to be nice one hostel was nearby provided college bus for easy transportation the view of chalakudy river near the college was overall nice a good attraction also

Dislikes

The mostly i diskiked about my college is about the campus life as like it is first of all a proffessional college so there is less life in campus as you expected
The next thing i disliked is about some staffs experience the freshly comers staff are not at all taking the class as much as i think so
The college placement is low but they are conducting many job affairs program and many are getingnplacement through this

Course Curriculum Overview

They are conducting daily test each day and weekly test by the end of week and also saturday exams for weaker students this way we can able to study better way 3 internal exams per year and university exams by the. End of year

Class Size: 3Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is done at 6th year it is done on our own hospital you will get a stipend of about 5000 per month its a good way of experiencing as a clinical pharmacist in our own provided hospitals yeahh

Fees and Financial Aid

There is around 2 lakhs rs per year for about 6 yr course and ath the 6th year we will get a stipend of about rs 5000 per month there is currently no job for cilinical pharmacist you can pursue your carrer in abroad.

Campus Life

Campus life is not there as it is first of all a professional college so it mainly focuses on studies so there is no campus life in my college there is several clubs being conducted and several Programs being conducted in my college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is nera to the college there is no need of any kind of transportation there is very affordability in the college and just you havento fill the form and pay the fees the meal quality was average and menu was also average.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I got my admission by merit base there is no specific entrance exams or interviews being conducted to allot a seat and there is no govt seat for the pharm d course in kerala the difficullty for passing the exams is very tough.

Faculty

We can interact with our teachers very effectively so it so soo good we can ask them doubts the learning experience in my college is far as so good as compared to other pharmacy colleges in kerala overall a good one

As u know it's a PhD course pharm D so its its tough and also the syllabus is not revised and also it it follows in 2016 k u h s syllabus hands most of the topics we are studying is not revised and it is mostly updated but it is good and also practice in the lordous hospital and also beam like sure to make up for this syllabus

My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course docter of pharmacy provides insights into the use of modern medicine and therapeutics. After completing pharmd you can work as a clinical pharmacist and help docters design thier treatment regimon that provides maximum benefits to patients and is cost effective. This influenced my decision to choose this course. But for real world applications the preparation provided but the curriculum is not upto the marks. Yet the college manages to provide as clinical postings in hospital which helps to improve patient student interactions and real world conditions. I find the course still needs improvement in improving the application level skills of the students. Since the academic schedule is planned yearly the frequency and timing of exams is not too hectic. Yet there is a lot of topics to be covered in a short time. The timing in between two exams is short.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is known for its hospital. Its situated in a good area of town. This course is a developing course hence was new to me. The curriculum system is mainly based on improving theoretical knowledge and gives less importance in practical knowledge gain. But the course is practically useful in hospitals as it is a very important in patient counselling. Doctors diagnose the patient whereas it is the clinical pharmacist who shoild prescribr and give patient counselling about the medicine to the patient or by-stander. Hence academically the curriculum supports students by providing hospital trainings during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year and internship. Improvement can be done in the examination system by not making student study just for the exams and implement practical gain of knowledge. Teaching methods can be for student freindly and interactive instead of just showing slideshows which are done most of the time. Exams are conducted according to an academic calender hiven ecmvery year for that particilar year. Usually 3 sessionals are written in every 2 to 3 months. Questions for the exam are of all kinds ranging from simple to application level.

College - its best and worst things

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum and this course is one with lot of opportunities and it is still developing and growing. Many wide opportunities are there especially in foreign countries and abroad. The method of teaching should be improved. Accurate notes and textbooks should be provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soevific asoects of the curriculum that influenced me to decide doing Pharmd program is, in our country there is lot of prescribing errors and dispensing errors making patient life more danger. In my point of view. PharmD is an bridge between Prescriber and patient. The pharmd curriculum established by india(PCI) is not good. Because it is almost same as Bpharm curriculum. The areas for improving the course curriculum and teaching methods are to include subjects like general medicine, General Prescribing guidelines to make the pharmd as prescribing doctors and to enhance the deep into the medicine.
