Likes

I liked the campus ver much as it is full and trees and is clean.
I like the faculty very much because they are very experienced and helpful.
I like the exam pattern and my course because it is updated accordingly to the industry

Dislikes

I disliked the hostel food because I think it could have been better.
I disliked the field because it is very small and we can play only one sport at a time.
I disliked the cleaning in the hostel as they are very irregular

Course Curriculum Overview

I am student pursuing mechanical engineering. My course is very much updated according to the present industry needs . The course starts with the basics of every topic and then increases the level as needed. Especially with great teacher around the course is very good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees of this college is very low in comparision to other colleges . The fee for b.tech is 80000 a year . With scholarship for students whose parents salary is low and also to those students who belong st,sc and obc. The campus placement is also very good.

Campus Life

Every year a annual event named SAMVID takes place which is biggest event in whole of chattisgarh . Their are a lot of books which are available in the Library which covers the course and even for extra knowledge. Their are various sports in which college takes place both intra college and inter college. Their are various clubs such as the drama, dance and editing club.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very good and spacious. Their is a different hostel for first year students. Then their is a different hostel for 2nd 3rd and 4th year. The meal quality for breakfast and lunch is good but dinner is not good it can be much better. The annual fees of hostel is 60000.

Admission

The admission process is very transperent. I took admission through cgpet exam. Application form is available online and application fees is 1500. The difficulty level of the examination is moderate and is conducted in November-december and next sem around June- July. I think the admission process is good.

Faculty

For every class of sixty students there are 4-5 teachers who are very cooperative and very helpful. The teachers are very experienced and keep immense knowledge about there subject. we can interact with the teacher whenever we want after or before class hours or even during class hours.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Ssipmt Raipur review my experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

The placements are not at all good here, the highest package ever is 7.5LPA and the lowest is 1.25LPA so the average usually comes around 2.5LPA which is not enough with the current inflation rates of our country. And they don't get very big companies to come for the hiring.
