Course Curriculum Overview

4

Kamineni medical college deal with competency based learning curriculum where they help us prepare since the beginning of the course all the vital habits that are required to grow in our field, medical field deals with patients and their problems which requires a lot of knowledge, patience, and guts. And doctor are equivalent to god's who holds an immense power to safe a life which motivated me towards my goal. In our curriculum we have Atecom module where they teach us ethics and attitude which help us to deal with our patients in our future, in this module they teach us empathy, sympathy, doctor patient relationship and few legal laws. And all these will develop our personality and help us be a good doctor for the society and coming to exams we have 3 internal exam along with practicals and a prefinal before final exams, and in between we have part completion test which help us track our performance. And ofcourse all the medical exams are difficult and require lot of hard work.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Kamineni makes it mandatory for all the passing students to work as interns in their hospitals for the span of one year with nominal stifend after that it's based on our choice and experience that to continue in that or move to other places and thought that internship gives us one year of experience certificate which helps us in further job opportunities and that internship also helps us to deal with lot of different scenarios with our mentors that definitely improves our skills in our particular field

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee system will be based on one's merit and in which category they got seat. A cat students have 60,000 fee and tution fee 50,000 that includes all the the labfee library access and few vaccinations, where again books and uniform has to be taken separately that approximately ranges from 15,000 to 25,000. For B cat students its approximately 13lakhs and C cat has 25 lakhs Scholarship is applicable only for few category students who come under below povertyline. Kamineni makes it mandatory as an intern for 1 year after u are done with your course with minimal stifend. Overall cost of this course ranges from 4 lakh to 1 crore based on one's merit

Campus Life

4

Kamineni do not have lot of culture events compared to other colleges yet there is one fest held once in a year that will be given by the fourth year students to all the juniors of their respective batches, which is held for about ten days which include lots of activities including academics and fun such as medical dumb sharades, debate, case scenario interpretations, disease based treasure hunt, best out of waste, model making, and food fests, cosplay and culture day. These events help us to build the relations with peers as well as seniors that improve our communication skills and confidence

Admission

To get into a medical college one have and give an exam called NEET. And must qualify in that exam and after qualifying based on all india rank admissions will be given, top colleges prefer merit students who scored lower AIR and councelling will be held, in state wise councelling cut off will be allotted by every college for particular cast catagory and based on that the college will be allotted for your merit. usually all the official links are found in NTA website and also many other organisations will help us with this councelling process. Based on reservations few castes have lower cut off which supports minority people to achieve their goals and NEET is held once in a year and it is considered to be top second toughest exam in india to be held which definitely requires lots of hard work and commitment. Admission process has became really easy and fare after it got monitorised after lockdown which genuinely reduces malpractices

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is PRETTY big. Its really big, actually. Sometimes its hard to handle, because of its bulk, some of it is relevant some of it is not, in the clinical applications but you have to study that to jncrease your knowledge, while the exams are focused on a few important topics out of the curriculum, thoee topics are meant to be focused on, more as they carry more clinical importance than the others.
