Dislikes
- I don't like the crowd of the students and also the local people who are visiting the hospital.
- We have to wear a helmet for riding a bike inside the little area of the campus.
- Food is good but it's not affordable for a student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of computer applications have two specifications here. One is general and other is Data science. Both the specifications helps us to learn about the several computer languages. Bca helps to get placed in the it companies. And also in our campus they also teach us four or more languages like: hindi, tamil, french , english etc.
Internships Opportunities
Campus is tied with several companies like Accenture, Sutherland, infosys, IBM etc. so we can do the internship either under these companies or under other companies. We have to complete the projects and tasks the companies are giving. Like to create a application, design a website. But the ideas and themes all will be given by the companies but the codings and all we have to do it uniquely. In some internships or projects we have to pay cash to the companies. Then only we will receive the certificates.
Placement Experience
In srm there is faculty for the placements training alone. So they will train for the interviews and also for the logical and aptitude tests. There are several companies that gives the students placements . We can get a internship from the college and the certificate they provide for completing the internship in a perfect way will help us to get placed easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees they provide for bca is 85000 per year. Its a normal fee amount of bca in most of the campuses. We will get the scholarships based on marks of the entrance exam they provide. Also, they will provide cash prices and also scholarships on the events they are conducting inside the campus
Campus Life
The experience I had in this campus life is precious. Because it helps me to know about more knowledge about the course we are focusing on by joining the various clubs and events the college provides. They also conduct intra-college sports meet so we can also involve in sports. The libraries, classrooms, auditoriums they provide is a good infrastructure quality they are showing.
Admission
The admission process is in several types . Normal admission type which i preferred was giving a application form in online . And do the other process like paying the fee and getting a seat directly to the college. The seats will be on high demand for several courses. So its not that easy to get a seat in srm . We can get seat based on the marks of 10th and 12th grades.
Faculty
The faculties of srm is very aware of the subjects they are teaching. They have a great knowledge of managing the students. But they have a language barrier between the students sometimes . Not every faculties have the problem with the language some of them from the locality is the one who have the problems with language. There are faculties from several districts or several place inside india .
