Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is old since it has add ons, so its quite okay! BCA is a trending course. So i chose that! Books are not provided, only soft copies are provided! But libraries have books for stuides!

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees total is 3.5L For first year its 1.8L 2nd and 3rd year its 85k each. This is excluding uniform and university fees which is nearly 22k There is also sports fees, cultural fees, id card fee etc!

Campus Life

3

Harshotsava is the college fest happening once in a year in the college! Which includes cultural programs and sports by students and concerts by famous artists. Books are there enough to study! We only see ground once in a year. Only on Harshotsava! There's no clubs for students!

Admission

There is no eligibility. Anyone with money can join the course irrespective of their streams! Application fees is 5000 i guess! All admissions are through different agencies! There is 2 internal exams in one semester!

Faculty

3

Faculties most of them are freshers mostly from kerala and Faculties are less in number considering the students number. So sometimes they are assigning two subjects to one faculty. Teaching are quite good overall! Teachers are friendly!

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really good. There are many good companies that come here. They ask relevant questions. Many don't take for they wanna pursue higher studies or do work in some other area like me????. You need 80 percentage attendance to take part in placements. They have a different office for placements itself where you can ask your queries and doubts regarding placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not at all relevant, they are still teaching us subjects like c and electronics. For eg - in our 4th semester we have vb.net as our programming language which is very outdated langauge. There were also two language subjects - general English and additional language (hindi,English, kannada) which I think is kind of useless to learn two language in BCA.

Infosys, Deloitte, TCS and other who all have their Indian head quarters here are some of the companies that have seen our potential. We do their projects and have been sticked with the curriculum that is beneficial for them and that is why even BCA students are offered jobs worth 50-60k at Presidency University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Despite being new combination the curriculum is relevant to course. And since not all students are from science they're teaching the basics to the students who are not from science background. The curriculum is more about practical than theoretical. And they explain accordingly. For now I don't believe there's no need for area of development for this course curriculum.
