Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

We are following the NEP scheme as of now, This course has much less value when compared to CBCS. We study very less about a certain topic through NEP unlike the detailed study offered by CBCS which makes us much less thorough about the topics that we are studying.

Placement Experience

2

As of now the college is trying it's very best to bring a handful of placements but many times the college has failed to bring new placements as our college is still in it's novice era and will take time to gain reputation.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of B.sc Computer Science and Mathematics, The fee structure is 45670 per semester. The college provides reasonable course fee packages when compared to it's competitors, The charges for Board Exams, Record Books has to be paid separately.

Campus Life

2

There are very less cultural events when compared to other colleges but the college has a good ambiance as it is located in a region called Hullahalli filled with lush greenery everywhere, The college also stresses about cleanliness and discipline. A new and much better Computer Lab is in the works and with time you can witness better equipment than the already existing labs.

Admission

The reservation was based on First come First Serve. The only conditions is that you have to pass the 12th Board exams to avail a seat in Christ Academy Institute For Advanced Studies. There was an interview and after the same you will be reviewed and given seats based on the availability.

Faculty

2

The Mathematics Department is good in my opinion whereas the Teachers who teach Artificial Intelligence are pretty bad. Our batch holds a record for the most teachers resigning from their role as a mentor in CAIAS because of pressure or else inexperience in their field.

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
