What Students Say
Likes
- The college facilities and amenities! Some teachers are excellent where as some are freshers in teaching.
- I love the cafeteria, timetable arrangement, holidays given on special occasions etc.
- It's a great college to build ones career
Dislikes
- Teachers with attitude who scream at students for no reason (there's rarely 1-2 teachers like that)
- There's only one washroom that's nice to use in our pharmacy block for females as per my requirements
- Extra softskill classes, it's just kids games and fun for a week or two
Course Curriculum Overview
It's perfect, everything's great! It depends on the students learning capability on how fast do they grasp the information given. The curriculum prepares us pretty well to face the world after graduation But once again it's on students on how do they imply and act on the particular knowledge provided to us. Exam timings are fine but also a so-so because of delays or early exams.
Internships Opportunities
I'm not pretty sure with this because I'm still in my 1st year but hey! My seniors got internship programmes. They say that once we've reached the 8th semester, it's months filled with internships. Brilliant students can easily crack through this.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is fine but a bit high in my opinion. It's 40-42 thousand per semester including exam fees, uniform fees etc. Over-all for an year the cost would be around 80,000. And B pharmacy is a 4 years bachelors graduate programme so it'd cost around 3-4 lakhs for the entire course.
Campus Life
There are many fests being held in the college. One of the major COLLEGE FEST is called VYOM and for the pharmacy fest, there's NPW fest called the National Pharmacy Week fest. It's fun with inclusion of games, sports, both indoor and outdoor! There are many student commited and clubs as well.
Admission
Well, I had to go through the PPHT exam beforehand joining the college. It's similar to an entrance exam to join any bachelor course for a degree study. The difficulty level was pretty mid. I'd honestly say that i didn't study anything at all for the entrance exam since I had recently passed 12th grade so I easily made up around 30-40% in the PPHT exam as an above average student.
Faculty
The approachabiity is fine! Teachers are always ready to help us out with our doubts or problems regarding the topics. I'd say that it just needs MORE focus on english conversation rather than Hindi conversation because that's one of the reasons that students in India lack knowledge in verbal and communal english. Otherwise, it's all good.
