I got this course by the online counseling method after the 2018 eamcet examination. First I was worried that I got mechanical as I wished for Computer science engineering. But later on I came to know that we can improve our knowledge in this stream too and I continued to work hard in this stream. The curriculum prepares you really good for the real work applications. They provide labs with many equipments so that students could improve their practical knowledge Some extra hours must be allocated to labs so that students can not only develop theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge. Exams are held according to the academic time table. Mid exams and semester exams along with assignments are given.

I did my internship in cognizant technology solutions. They offered me a job role. I had to complete my internship to become a full time employee. They provide stipend of nearly 40k for my 3 months internship. We can also do our internship in our final year in big companies like vizag steel plant or any thermal power plant. Doing a internship helps to increase our skills and also helps to increase our chances of getting jobs as we can add it to our resume. I really helps a lot. Many other companies also offer internship

Students are eligible for getting campus placements once the complete their 7th semester that is after completing their 1st semester of final year. Companies like TATA,Accenture, cognizant technology solutions ,Wipro , Larsen and turbo, virtusa, Zoho, vedanta gas company, bhagya nagar gas limited, Deloitte, reliance and many other core as well as IT companies had visited our campus. Nearly 60 percent of our class members got recruited. Others went on to prepare for gate examination and some for govt examination and also for higher studies in abroad. Highest package was 14 lakhs least was 3.5 lakhs

As it is a government maintained college the fees here are quite low compared to other colleges. Academic tution fees is 10000 rs. There is on increase in fees since many years and us standard. Scholarships are also given to some people. It costed me nearly 1.2 lakhs for 4 years including tution and hostel and mess fees. No other charges are collected. Some companies and website's provide scholarships to students who are financially weak. They must be eligible to that criteria like academic marks. Campus placements are done every year for final year students. Many big companies and MNC companies recruit students based on their academic marks, exams held by them and interview marks. Highest package when I was there was 14lakhs per annum

Due to covid I had to stay away from campus nearly 18 months. But the rest I had a beautiful and memorable experience. As I was a hosteller we enjoyed a lot during our free time. We went on to trips and beach was nearby to us. Regular events like freshers farewell parties are happened. In mess also we had monthly parties which we had delicious food. Department fests are planned every year which other colleges also participated. Library was one of the biggest in that city. Many range of books are available. Sports are the most of the events we participated in.

Hostels are good but maintenance must slightly get improved. Regular cleaning of rooms must be done. Wifi is provided to the students which is one of the great arrangement done by the management. Good drinking water is provided. Mess menu is prepared by the students itself. Every year elections are held between branches of the hostel members. 3 members are elected and they maintain the mess by the help of staff members. The quality of the food is top notch and unlimited food. Registration of hostels can be done with the help of the hostel management guidance

I got here admission through Andhra Pradesh eamcet. I secured 3045 rank and I got mechanical engineering branch through online counseling. Reservation benefits are available to the eligible members. The frequency and timings of the examination are held according to the academic time table. The level of the examination difficulty is medium. I got my admission in a smooth manner. I've faced No problem during my admission. The administration has guided well during my joining. I got a bit confused only during the payment for the hostels admission but later got it done.

The faculty to students ratio is nearly 1:45 for mechanical engineering. They maintain friendly relationship with students and clear all the doubts when ever they're available. Also contract based professors are also available to students any time. If we show some interest to get educated, they'll definitely help you to score good marks. Professors are very well experienced. Balakrishna sir also the principal teaches thermal engineering. J Prasad sir has done his mtech from IIT chennai teaches metallurgy and material sciences K Prasad sir has done PhD and many other specialisations teaches dynamics of machinery and FM and HM Meera sahed Sir, hod teaches strength of materials. Aruna Kumari ma'am university rector teaches R and AC subject and many more experienced professors and asst professors are available. They are very well approached to students and clarifies doubts and explanation is good. We can interact with them during the clg hours or we can even contact them and ask any doubt
