Likes

The main pros of the college is that it is isolated from the busy traffic and public because it is situated far from road and bounded in walls properly
Infrastructure was good, a two floor building that can occupy bcs , and msc of two departments and bcom
The teachers were nice, some of them cursed with wisdom.we can know that by their way of teaching.HOD was a great experienced teacher

Dislikes

Main cons was the lack of students.there were less students in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course cause I wanted to fix every electronics equipments like speakers..but I regretted after taking this course because it mainly focus on the theoretical part and practicals which is basic like creating signals, integrated and differentiated waves. But the last semesters were good practical topics like DSP , ARDUINO,Esp866 are also there.Final year projects will make you a pro,if taken seriously. Students also get opportunities to study programming papers of CS students, which is a good thing helping electronics students to switch between cs and electronics in future.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs upto 1 lakh for me to complete this course.For Sc ST students education is free and scholarships like E-grants is there.There is no increase in tution fees but it varies in semesters due the difference in number of papers in a semester

Campus Life

The traditional festivals like Onam, and festivals like Christmas are celebrated with joy .Annual day was colourful just like other colleges.Library is a versatile one with study materials to famous fictions and drama.Classrooms are average not a developed one.Old seating arrangements .Labs are functional and good with necessary equipment and materials.Club activities were not actively carried on that time , teachers mainly wanted everyone to study and prepare for the exams.Unlike other colleges the exams were purely ethical ,no mal practices were tolerated

Admission

Student should have 60 percentage marks in physics chemistry and mathematics for the eligibility.There is no fees reduction based on higher marks. Application process is through 2 ways :- 1 Through Calicut University application portal 2 Through IHRD portal Frequency of exams is between 4-6 months and difficulty level is easy.The course is easy as compared to BTech

As I said earlier about the less number of students in the college favoured in this aspect,which is faculty to student ratio is maintained.Teachers could know the academic knowledge and character of students individually. Teaching was good ,Hod was the greatest I have ever seen .A teacher who justified the word 'teacher'

Honesty

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum.The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships.The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes.The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.
