Is KNIT worth the hype?

The curriculum covers essential subjects such as analog and digital electronics, circuit theory, microprocessors, and communication systems. The faculty here is a mix of experienced academics and industry professionals, provides a strong theoretical and practical learning environment. The well-equipped laboratories enhances physical experimentation and skill development. Though in odd semesters the curriculum goes in rush,CT's and semester is done with a month or two of lectures. They should improve this because due to less time we don't get skilled or get insights of the topic but only mug up things

Here the college has collaborated with Siemens scholar and TCS to access their program free which are charged in thousands. The scholarship exam occurs every year here whoever clears it goes for the summer training to all these types of companies and the scholarship covers all the expenses of the programme. The internship was provided by stock exchanges like groww.

After the 7th semester students are eligible for on campus placements and for off campus it's as per the company there's no restriction from college. TCS Ninja ,Wipro,Infosys,Mahindra tech,etc Number of offers made this year were something 200. The percentage of placed students every year is something 70-80 percent for all branches in mass recruitment. But for good job profiles it's something 20-30%. Highest package offered this year was 12 lakhs and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for PCS

Tuition fee here is less its something 53000 as it's an autonomous government college under Abdul Kalam technical university lucknow. The increament in tution fee depends on the government though it doesn't increases every year or even if it increases it does by 5k or 8k something. Hostel fees here is 10000 per year. And the mess charges are 25k (5000 caution money)for first semester and 20k for rest all sems. The overall fees including hostel fees and excluding mess fees goes 73k. Hostels here are equipped with 24/7 wifi. You can apply for the most famous scholarship which is UP scholarship which will rebate about 63k for generals and 54k for OBC's . I've been in media team in organizing fests where I got something 5k and for calling sponsors I got a free 2k voucher .

The college organizes several fests like every two year it organizes nation fest named- Anubhuti, participares in several sports fest organized by IIT Kanpur and IIT BHU.It organizes it's cultural and sports fest named-Twaran and KNIT SPORTS LEAGUE. This year the college organizes Anubhuti with starring Swattrex(EDM -2M followers) and Yasir Desai(Bollywood singer). Here you can get into various clubs as per your interest like hobby club ,coding club,sports club, cultural club etc. Here you're offered every sports ground and facilities. A lush green football and cricket field,basketball ground, volleyball field ,TT etc. We run our own social campaigns to educate poors and needy named Koshish.

Hostels are two seated and three seated and our alloted anonymously for the first years but from second year you get three seated room which continued for third year and in final year you get a solo room. Now coming to quality and space of the room the rooms are clean,well maintained and quite spacious here you get a table chair, fan per student inside as a pre installed but you can bring cooler to the room by your own. Hostels are alloted to every applicants there's no shortage of hostel or rooms here. Hostel facilities are - 24/7 wifi and security. Now coming to the meal and mess,food here is neither good nor bad ,i would say okay kind of. On Sundays you get nonveg and like varities are also good here.

I got admitted in Btech electronics engineering (Lateral entry),so for that firstly you need to appear for CUET and after the examination results or before it appear for UPTAC counselling. To get into the college for CSE,IT,EC you need to study damn hard, you need to get something under 600 in the merit list of aktu to get into the college as a lateral admission. The difficulty of the CUET exam for lateral entry is hard if you choose engineering graphics as your core entrance exam subject,I chose computer science so it was not that hard for me. CUET occurs every year and it costs goes 720-1200 I guess according to the selection of subjects. The admission process was smooth so I don't have any problem as such.

Here every stream faculty has 5-6 teachers and 75-80 students in every stream.All teachers are PhD holders and some guest faculties too either pursuing PhD in the same college or a distance one. Faculties are experienced and have a great insights and knowledge about the subjects,I would say they teach good but try to cover the syllabus in a short time. You can ask your doubts anytime either visiting cabin during college hours or online anytime,the faculty here is friendly and I mean it. The faculty here try to make us aware about every new invention,programmes and skills helpful in today's generation.
