Review of Ranchi Women's College

Choosing this course was my personal choice, there is no specific aspects of the college curriculum that influenced, because the college doesn't provide any special curriculum which can influence students. Teachers guide you outside your course which can definitely help you to enhance your practical knowledge. They should provide smart board study and often use of computer lab, so students can get practical knowledge and develop their skills. The timing of exams are good, they provide you a good gap between the exams, so students can prepare wisely. The exams are not that tough and all the questions come from the syllabus set of the examination.

The tution fee is very reasonable, as compared to other colleges in Ranchi. Total course fee i paid for 3 years is Rs.42000. The tution fee is Rs.5000 and admission fee is charged every semester is Rs.500 and they also charge miscellaneous fee which is Rs.1500. The total amount i paid every semester is Rs.7000. Examination fee is also charged every semester Rs.700. There is no campus placement provided. Even college don't provide internships, students themselves find the one for them.

There are college festivals like, annual day celebration, sports day, youth festival, NCC programs Science exhibitions and many more which are generally organised accordingly to semester examination of every department, mostly in August, November or December. In library students can get plenty of books for there course. The classroom lacks AC, CCTV, Smart board. There is no sports or any extracurricular activities provided on campus. No there's no club or any social groups, there is a group union but they're not active.

Eligibility of the course : 45% marks in 12th from any board. The application get released in chancellor portal of Ranchi University. The application fee is Rs.500. Application dates are around June and July. Reservations benefits are available for ST, SC OBC category as their cut off goes upto 35-40% only. The frequency and timing of the exams are good, students get enough time to prepare for exams. The examination is not that tough questions come from your syllabus which you'll be provided by the faculty. Admission process is easy, students can easily take admission without any issues if done every process like filling up application form, document verification and fee submission on time. Even if you are unable to do admission process on time you get extended time, you can complete that time.

There are sufficient professors and departmental team for students, my overall learning experience is good. The teaching method is good but not sufficient for students to learn things rather than book there is no practical knowledge given to students. Teachers are moody, they interact with students according to their mood and most of the times they're unavailable. Teachers are not that punctual, which waste alot of time, energy and money of the students.
