Sports complex of the university because I am a badminton player.

Dislikes

I don't like the nature of some faculty members.
They are very rude and have a fraun face.
Beside these , there is nothing to dislike about our university

Course Curriculum Overview

I would say that the efforts they put to make us understand the topic or course is very good.Infact every teacher trys to relate the topic with the real world so that we can understand that topic more easily.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good. Not very good But as they are providing a lot more things I would say it's good. Scholarship structure is also very impressive as they are providing us 100 percent scholership those who scored excellent in cuet exam.

Campus Life

My overall experience about my university is quite good. I enjoy a lot with my friends and I also go for the badminton training as university have a coach for this training.For maintain body health they also provide gym in every hostel.

Admission

The admission process is either you give a cuet exam for scholership or you can take direct admission with full fee payment.Almost every student who scored more then 60 percent in the 12th board exam is eligible.The frequency of timing of exam is also good. They give us enough time to prepare for the exam's.

Faculty

The teaching style of the faculty is very good. They try to provide as much as knowledge we can take from them.Faculty to students ratio is quite good and we don't have any problem with that.We can interact with our teacher in allmost every lecture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
