- I liked the opportunities that the college provides , may it be in academics , placements, extra curricular activities like fashion walk , sports , dance department level activities.
- There are even field trips that the college takes you to and fun trips only for the third years and this year the college also turned autonomous but my batch doesn't come under it we are still affiliated to banglore University.
- Then there's always an event happening almost every day so it's fun but I also gotta balance your studies
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I've taken has also so far been interesting and challenging as I'm still in 1st year. One thing they could improve about us balancing each subject when they give assignments and tests, all the faculty announce it at the same time which goes all over the heads of Students.
Internships Opportunities
So we did an internship in Adobe Photoshop which was offered by the college, it wasn't compulsory that everyone had to do the same but it was our choice. It was a time period of 10 days and was a paid internship as well. It was worth it because I learned about Photoshop and it would also be added to my resume. There was certification as well.
Placement Experience
So that placements start from 2nd year in the college. The college offers a placement cell for students to train themselves when companies come for placements. The highest is 5 lakh per annum and the lowest is probably 3 lakh per annum. The placement opportunities for BCA are pretty good. My plans after getting a degree are too do master's as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite reasonable as I've only taken BCA without any add-on programs. The college offers 2 programs for add-ons which are data science, ai & ml. The fees if you're choosing it with an add-on would be an extra 20k which you'll have to pay all three years.
Campus Life
The overall experience for me in this 1 year has been good because it was a way for me to socialize make good friends, focus on academics, and take part in culturals. The faculty has also always been supportive of academics and other cultures. There are many clubs for students to join and each student is supposed to join a club that helps students to socialize and explore more. So overall the college has been good except for the uniform part.
Admission
I didn't have to take any entrance exams for this course. The admission process was also good but they should have given time for the fee payment after the seat had been assured. There were 2 teachers who interviewed me not just based on intellectual and knowledge-based but also on the confidence and talents I have apart from academics.
Faculty
The faculty of my department is really good, they are always there for you. The teachings, communication with students, and also they provide materials for studying and do help us a lot for studying and skill development in an overall view.
