My Review on SVIT.

Currently our batch students are exposed to a new curriculum, this curriculum ensures that all the students are exposed to all the branches of engineering in the 1st year itself, and then later they start to focus on core subjects of the course that we have choosen.

Students get internships based on the projects that they have developed, they get the opportunity to present the papers at IEEE conference. some companies that offer internships are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc.,

Students at SVIT campus become eligible for campus placements starting from 6th seemester. The placement cell organizes various training sessions and workshops to prepare students for the recruitement process companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Capegemini etc., visit for campus placements. The average package is around 5LPA.

Since i had been admitted to this college through KCET I have the knowledge on fee structure based on CET, So the fee varies on a yearly basis and hike of the fee depends on the KCET board only for those who have been admitted through CET. Our college do provide the oppurtunities to gain merit based scholarships to students, we can even avail the scholarships provided by the government.

Campus life is good, students have opportunities to participate in many events. Atleast one fest is organized in every sem, and our college has a fest named Sanchalana which is the main fest that is conducted in our college, There are many evens that are conducted in this fest and we would also have the participants taking part in this fest from other colleges which increases the competition. we have a good band in our college who perform very well during the culturals. Our college even conduct teh sport events where the students cann take part in any sport they wish to be part in. Students get socialy interactive through clubs like rotract club, NSS etc.,.

The admission process went smoothly, a personal faculty member will be provided to take care of the admission process of any student. After the admission the student will be listed under a faculty who is basically called proctor, they will observe and monitor the students performance.

The faculties are easy to approach, they are very friendly with students. We can approach the faculties at any time in the college, and they do not hesitate to teach us again if we do not understand any concepts. All the faculties have very good knowledge in there subjects and they are always open to learning new things.Overall they are very supportive to students.
