CIVIL Department

As I have interest in how buildings and structures were build, so I selected civil engineering. In college different applications, softwares like AUTOCAD, STADDPRO, 3D Max were I have learn which are useful for me for designing of structure. I think the period for internship will be increased. Because field training is required to impact our gained knowledge on sites.

College makes sure that each student can get internship in companies. College has tie up with Kolbro group, Milestone where students go for internship. Stipend is also there in companies for internship upto 10000. Internship is for last year of 4 month and for 3rd year Field training is their for 4 weeks.

From 3rd semister last sem students are ready for campus drive. Various companies come from all branches. For civil Adani cement, LandT, Milestone, ACC cement, and Infra Market came to hier students. The highest package provided in 2022-23 was 13lpa and the average package was 4-5 lpa. For the IT department Capgemini, TCS, and Accenture came and hired students.

The total fee of our college is 1,06,000 for the degree. There are some scholarships like EBC, OBC, EWS, and SEBC for this fee will be less. In general, If Income is less than 8 lacs, the EBC scheme will be there. Panjabrao Deshmukh scheme is also there to minimise hostel fees. For the SC/ ST category students are given with full remission in academic fees. 3 TFWS seats are also there for topper students in each department. Sponsorship seats are also there for MTech students.

Various books and gerenerals are available in library. Projectors are avilable in each classroom. Infrastructure of library is good. Our college hosts different fests such as zodiac, fusion. There are various clubs are arranged to motivate students for extra curricular activities such as ECO club, YIN, NSS, Cultural club, Art club, Acting club. Gymkhana is there to considering that health is wealth.

Provisional admissions are done by which students can get a discount on fees. For the mechanical and civil branches 30 seats are there so the fee structure for this two branches is less than others. College gives a browser to explain the admission process and documents list required to take admission. There were no issues with admission time and all the forms were kept in systematic order by staff and the admin office was polite and helpful.

The faculty have good control on class even if the strength of class is more. There is mentoring system in my college, from which teacher personally councils us. So if anyone has doubt or complaint about anything they would able to tell their mentors. Teachers are more supportive, understanding and motivative.
