Bhubanananda Odisha School Of Engineering is the 1st Engineering polytechnic in odisha for which student's after 10th can join the college securing 80% above in 10th. This college provides best faculties for polytechnic courses. The exams are done time to time.Class test are done in every completion of one chapter.Then the mid sem/Internal exams are done in 3months of each sem. The Semester exams are in every 6 months. For improvement of students there is Seminar classes provided to students,projects are done by students with guidance of best faculties to gain knowledge and students to have good project experiences.

This college provides internship according to your branch.The companies like oriclean,Ossl ,cttc, and many more.These internships are provided by the colleges so the students doesn't get any stipends.

In starting of the 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Students having no back are eligible for campus placements. Students from mechanical, electrical, electronics most of the companies recruited. The companies like amns mittal,Sms,hfcl,tata Hitachi, hindalco, yokohama, Bajaj, tvs, Jindal, Tata steel, MarutiSuzuki, tega, motherson, dana and etc. The highest package is upto 2.5lakhs per annum. And average is upto 1.5 lakha per annum. The students which are selected there percentage was more than 70%

The tuition fee's of this college is less due to it's a government college. Per year the fee's is 4900 for general caste and 2100 for other castes. The amount is so affordable and the students can easily avail it. The tuition fee's for general caste is 4900 and others 2100. The hostel fee's for bed is 3000 and for mesh its 2000 approx per month. So,it's a government college it provides scholarships like sudakhya, post metric,pragati ,kalia and many more. This college also provide a good amount for students good performance in academics.

It's a polytechnic so the tech fests is note done. Recently the college celebrates It’s 100yrs completion. The college recently published a book technical. The library is done for the students . There are smart classrooms provided to each department. These classrooms are air conditioned. This college also celebrates annual sports meet every year. All the student's take part on it. This college has club like robotics.

The rooms are made for 5 students. In rooms the lights are 3 ,2fans ,4 charging boards are provided. 9 racks are provided to students. 3 study tables are provided in each room and 2 chairs in each room. The meal of girl's hostel is better than boy's hostel. There is a menu provided that is followed regularly. The food is provided 2 times a day. The registration process for hostel is done in the time of admission. The price for hostel is easily affordable for everyone.

Though it's a top 1 government college it's cut-off is at peak. There's are many courses like -Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering ,Electrical engineering, Computer science engineering,Electronics engineering, Applied electronics engineering, Automobile Engineering. Students securing more than 80% on boards can easily get the seats. Students can apply for this college though sams portal. There is reservation for sc/st and handicapped students.

Faculties are well educated. They provide notes as much they can.The students are free to ask them the doubts and the teacher helps students to make them understand and gain knowledge about everything. The students are provided mentors for which they can easily get the notes.The faculties are well educated and certified teachers. The faculties are qualified more than phd and many more courses.The teachers clears the doubts of students with calmness and a happy face. The faculties are so helpful in academic years.They try to reach out to students if they have doubts. The faculties are friendly in nature and helps students to gain knowledge in a unique way for which student's are so intelligent in this college. The faculties help students to apply in different short term courses to gain knowledge . The faculties provides individual notes through time to time for which students are not in problem.

There is no group discussion ,interview or written test for the admission. The criteria for admission is securing 80% marks in 10th board. The admission for less than 80,% marks is so difficult to get seat in this college.
