Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is given by NMC and they are same for all colleges also the hospital posting starts from 2nd year and that is a very good decision. The classes of final year subjects starts from 2nd year and that is not so good decision. There are 2 internals , A PUC and at the end of year a University final exam.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is a internship for one year after the 4.5 years of acadmic course. The internship is way too useful as it is a practical course. The patient load is very good. The intern was paid 2000rs per month which has been increased to 14,000 per month last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee currently is 15 lac per year for general seats and around 27 lac per year for management seats. The fee is taken for 4 and a half year. The examination fee is around 25 thousand that keeps on increasing every year. The good aspect is that the reputation of college is good and so is of the degree.

Campus Life

4

The fest is celebrated once a year but it is a stressbuster for the students. Also the library is very large and has a good amount of books both in quality and quantity. The sport section needs to be improved as there are no sports events also there is not a proper amount of space dedicated to sports.

Admission

The cutoff is too high as compared to private colleges. The admisssion is through Neet exam and of general category the cutoff rank is around 60,000. The Neet exam is conducted once a year. Reservation is as per according to the state rules.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are super qualified especially the HODs. The interaction between the professors and the students vary from department to department. Also there is a mentor professor on every 10 students .Overall the faculty is highly qualified.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
