Remarks

Except for hostel facilities, every other thing about college is best in the state. More scholarship schemes should be launched for students belongs to poor family background.

4

In order to improve the standards of the education and enable the students to acquire the knowledge and skills required in the professional world the scheme of teaching, learning and syllabus were designed and implemented by way of a brainstorming session, taskforce, a group working and workshops on Redefining the Technical Education. The efforts have been widely appreciated and the University has earned the distinction of introducing soft skills as a part of the curriculum. The courses include communication skills, group discussion, human values education, health hygiene and yoga, personality development, entrepreneurship and project-based learning.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college doesn't provide internship facilities. We solely have to find and apply for internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

Best in State. Record placement every year in our college. In this session, more than 350 students are already placed and 20 of them got 10 LPA package. In placement point of view, this is the best college in Chhattisgarh with 100% placement in computer science branch.

College Events

4.5

Regular National Service Scheme activities. SAMVID college fest, Central India's biggest fest with lots of fun activities totally organised by students with the guidance of faculties. Sports activities. Cricket Premier Leagues and Football premier Leagues are organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for middle-class families and expensive for lower-middle-class families, 34000-40000 per semester is the fees with no discount. facilities according to the fees are not provided that's why it looks like why are they charging that much money.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there's no such scholarships and loan facilities programs I have heard of. Only branch openers have some discount.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is best. Gender ratios are very good. Equality for all. Best at academic as well as Extracurricular activities. Labs are not good. Sports are good. Robotics are good. National Level champs in debates We have national level awardees. And 4 Republic Day Parade Volunteers.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostelers are not satisfied at all.they are always complaining about the facts like cleanliness, mess food is not good and security issue that anybody can come up without any authority. Infrastructure is good but the facilities are not good at all at this college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we have the best relationship bond here in college between seniors and juniors. Senior students are always helpful.

Exam Structure

It's Good. But So here is my answer to the question: I was also in dilemma of the authenticity of valuation of paper because it happened to me too that I was expecting 74 marks but got 35 marks in EM paper while it was numerical paper. Being in the 1st year due to speculations in the college about paper revaluation by our seniors I just accepted 35 marks, it was the moment when I was expecting a score and got just half of it so doubt was obvious. But in 3rd year when I was expecting 17 marks in OS paper as paper was tough for me because I had started preparation or say gave very first look to the subject on the one day before an evening of exam but got 28 marks, I should have thankful to CSVTU for such mistaken kind act but friends really that day I felt really bad about it and I came out of my dilemma of authenticity of paper evaluation. Usually teacher and management blame Student when they say such things that papers valuations authentication just because Student get back while expecting at least 28 marks but I am saying this because I was expecting my self back but got 28 marks so my conclusion justify the point that.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.
