Remarks

I think it's the number 1 private medical college in Telangana state. It has the most popular and experienced faculty of Hyderabad.

Entrance Preview

Gave the EAMCET exam and scored 1800 rank and chose this college as it happens to be 27 yr old medical college and is the best medical college in Hyderabad after Osmania and Gandhi medical college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is the standard set by MCI and NTRUHS. Faculty is well informed and vibrant. College itself is very conservative and some people might be happy about it and some would want more freedom.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is pretty serious and very educative. It's just like every one step you take your faculty takes one step towards you, so give and take basically. Zero stipend given, which is common with most private medical colleges.

Placement Experience

5

Well being a doctor from Deccan helps and it's pretty reputed. As such just after internship u can earn 25k per month at most hospitals.

College Events

2.5

We have an event called Mitosis which is a mixed bag of events, some people attend it loudly and some completely skip it. It's fun and teaches you one or two management skills as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is the same set by the court and the government of Telangana. Changes every year so needs to be cross checked as it can be complicated with different private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't offer any scholarship as such. Government of Telangana does offer help to the deserving students and management is helpful with the details and process. College has a bank called Darusalam education trust and they might provide loans to deserving students.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is memorable and fun. Huge playground with well maintained grass. Yearly events, quiz, competitions do occur but not as much as the other streams..

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is brand new and excellent. Memorable stay. Food is very good when compared to the usual expected hostel food throughout India. Have two students per standard room and one per student AC rooms. Yes limited rooms available, fare should be 4k for sha

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni being doctors are always in touch and active on Facebook. Pretty helpful with any question or doubt.

Exam Structure

We have yearly exams. Pattern set by NTRUHS. Ofcourse you are busy throughout the day. Again being a professional college nobody is going to drag you to do stuff, you would obviously do it yourself if you don't want to end up killing innocent people later

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
