What Students Say

Likes

Campus size is great and I must say very vast to hang out with your friends
I personally like the cyber library which offers free wifi and ac
Professors, staff and teachers are very helping and understanding.

Dislikes

Some professors are late for the late which is not a big issue as it goes everywhere
I am not saying that every, but some college canteen do not maintain proper hygiene
In such a big campus there should be more benches in the parks

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching basically includes only theoretical ofcourse I am only talking about my course (that is b.com). I personally don't think it does any kind of benefit in preparing you for the real world. More like the stereotypical aspect of getting a degree.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 7054 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for the b.com program at lucknow university for the year 2024-2025 academic year. B.com (regular) : INR 30800 approximately B com (self - financed) : INR 55800 approximately Yeah scholarship is provided here to students. You just have to submit all your necessary documents on time.

Campus Life

I am currently a student at lucknow university b.com course and I am quite enjoying my college life. Which basically covers everything you can desire or me I guess. But anyways, it offers a great campus size, huge library both for books and computer, helping teacher and yeah friends. There are so many clubs you can join here with a lot variety which basically includes from culture,art, singing,theatre play, performance, dance , organising events and whatnot.

Admission

Eligibility ofcourse matters according to the course you opt for: For BSC you must have science stream For B.COM commerce and science both works And anyone can opt for BA courses doesn't matter the science,commerce or arts stream which is clearly basic i would say.

Faculty

The staff here is great that will try to help you in every possible way, except ofcourse there are some exceptions but yeah most of them are very kind, cooperating and nice. They actually want you to ask questions in class which basically helps them to have a better communication with all.

Placement Experience:

Mostly students do masters and other course like ca cs after bachelors. In final years the students become eligible for campus placement. Companies that visited for placement are HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank ,Wipro, LIC ,SBI . The average package is around 3 to 5 lakh per annum . Highest highest package offered to faculty of Commerce student is around 40 lakh per annum by Aditya Birla and federal Bank. Around 20% students get placed each year with average starting package of around 3 to 5 lakh. I have planned for masters after the degree

Placements in my college is quite interesting to be discussed about because top companies do come to BHU because of its excellent students. After 3rd sem one can apply for Placements. Avg package is 3 lakh which is quite a good start. My plan is to do internship after the college.

I love accounts that's why I chose Bachelor of commerce and the faculty was also very good. Almost all the teachers had done PHD. This course made me very well prepared for the real world. They had this internship program in the final year of the course which helped students so much. The exams were conducted semester wise. The exam were very simple like if you study well then you can pass the exam easily but if you not then there's nothing one can do.

Remarks:

The management is fine however the committee elections are happening on a periodic basic. Also there is good understanding between the management and the academic counsil of the college. I didn't remember any such mess between managing committee and academic / support staff.

Structure of LU new campus.

I think the college curriculum is good as compare to private college. There is no 9:00 to 5:00 pm working for students. Some college is good because they have good faculty and exposure.There is moderate exposure. I applied private college but can't get because of some money issues.
