A better option for a brighter future : FAROOK COLLEGE

As a commerce student, I like accounting subjects very much so basically I thought of taking bcom after 12th, so happy that I got admission in the no. 1 autonomous college in Calicut. Each year there are 2 sem exams. The course curriculum is good.

As a 5th sem student, i'm not that concerned about the placement offers. And for us (bcom students) there is no internship program. I don't know about other departments. And some students go for others courses like logistics and like professional cma, acca, ca and so on.. for settling their future

In each sem, the fee is 11250. we have 6 semesters, so for 3 years the fee is 67500. Scholarships are available for some students only, idk why i didn't avail the scholarship. Many students got placement before completing their courses.

College fests are the best parts in college life. Each and every fests conducted by the students are admirable.The national fest INVICTA are mostly held in december. That's the bestes fest in farook college conducted by commerce students.

In each courses, marks are the main factor. I personally preferred bcom ca, it's self financing. The other bcom is aided, i guess to get the admission there we should get atleast 98%, so there's no scope for that course for me. application fee is 350-400 something around that. its in the internet.

In my class there are 70 students. All are really talented and have a mentality to study well. The teachers are also too good, they make us understand each and every chapters quickly. After each chapters they conduct a semiar/viva for a better result. All teachers are very friendly and interactive so naturally their teaching methods are also interesting.

In interview, they just ask about our previous schools achievement, our way of behaviour, the teachers, and so on.. The admission procedures were not that hard as expected, it was simple enough. No further preparations were needed.
