Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good only. Like I'm doing MBA, on first year we studied all the subjects - finance, marketing, HR, supply chain, everything. There were subjects that weren't that good and most students found them to be irrelevant one such subject was management lessons from ancient India.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is pretty affordable here. For MBA, our fee for 2 year course is 5 lacs. If you score good in CUCET exam (CU's entrance) you can even get eligible for upto 100% scholarship. So I scored 59 out of 100 and got scholarship of 25%. Had I scored 60 out of hundred I would have gotten scholarship of 30%.
Campus Life
To be honest that's really great. Chandigarh University offers really great infrastructure, has an amazing campus life. There are so many food outlets like Domino's, La pinos, so many other shops, and even street style food. You we have so many clubs that give us the opportunity involve into various social activities.
Admission
Admission process starts in August. In Chandigarh University you get admission on the basis of its qualifying exam that is known as CUCET. It's a common entrance exam for students from every course. For MBA the syllabus had four subjects - English, Quants, Reasoning, and DI.
Faculty
Many teachers are highly qualified and have 15+ years of industry experience. However, most of the teachers at CU don't know how to teach, they lack even the basic knowledge. Which I really don't like.
