Remarks

In short, this place is good for students as well as sports activities. The bad thing is the location this college.

Entrance Preview

This college is best for engineering. So I had taken in mechanical engineering. Apart from this, the atmosphere in the university is so pleasing that one can explore in sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi and many more. With the separate ground of all. The teaching with the new technology as well as the labs are the place for research and development.

Course Curriculum Overview

After getting in you will get all the details for the first year as well as the curriculum in hard copy, on the first day known as ORIENTATION PROGRAM DAY. In which the senior along with the faculty will guide you. There will be a 7-day orientation program with lunch included. You will be acquainted with all the department and the university.

Internships Opportunities

yes, they provide internship for Bachelor and master but the stipend will be according to the gov rules for the master.

Placement Experience

The Charusat placement is very good for the engineers who are seeking their engineering. Computer and Information technology have 100% job opportunities. While other have 50-60 % placement Aside from this different faculty have a different percentage of the placement.

There are so many events celebrated in this university The most enjoyable event is tech fest named as COGNIZANCE. Celebrated for two days followed by DJ night on last day evening. The second one is SPOUSAL the cultural event in which all department of university take part in various activities and compete with another dept. 15 August, environmental day, world health day, heart day etc are celebrated here.

It is getting expensive day by day due to maintaining of the university They have maintained all the lab, classroom, just installed air condition for students, the Surrounding maintenance is essential so the fees are higher. They are doing the welfare program too.

Yes college offers a good scholarship for the panel of 24 games they have to pay half fees The government is also applicable

Campus Life

The campus life is so good one can access the college garden, all the sports ground, gym All can participate in a competition such as robotics debates etc. Talking about gender ratio female and male are the same as a proportion. The diversity is good that one can see the birds near a lake which they have build, snake too.

Hostel Facilities

There are only girls hostel in the university campus. The infrastructure is well maintained, cleaning is good, maintain hygiene, The food is so good, they provide varieties of dishes in 7 days and the taste is not the same as the home taste, but it is good for health. There is so many boys hostel out of the campus which gives different facilities.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Exam Structure

The exam structure is so simple that one can easily go through it. There are two internal exams of 30 marks internal practical exam of 20marks Your submission of an assignment, as well as the ppt, will be counted in that marks The external exam is of 70 marks we have to write the paper. And 30 marks is for external viva

Admission

Firstly, you have to score the marks in 12th or 10th (if you have completed your diploma). Then there is a procedure undertaken by the ACPC. In which we have to take a book as well as a pin number. After registration mock result will be declared according to you result then choose the college/university. The confirmed your admission and pay the fees.

well talking about the assessment of the faculty you will be given all the details of the faculty in the orientation program. And if you want to meet personally you can go to the cabin of faculty with his prior permission. Another way is you can mail him as well as call him. PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Likes

The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Faculties are Expert in their Respective Fields and teach very well.

Dislikes

The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage

Good education good campus l

In Gujarat state there acpc admission council every year they conduct the entire admission process for BTech and I applied to various other colleges like a DDU Dharam Singh University and Nirma University and birla vishvakarma University also but there cut off was a bit high from what marks I have so I didn't pass the cut off so I didn't get the admission and I choose this college because other college that I was getting admission even not quite good enough and they were lacking in infrastructure also they were looking the facilities for experiment so I take these college and the talking about admission process of my college it takes student in 2 ways the first one is from acpc counselling in acpc counselling you have to get a percentile above 75 to get admission in this particular course and the other way that is the management quota in management quota give you a rank based on your percentile and the number of students that have applied in the management quota round so they conductor a management quota round on a specific day and they call students based on their rank if you are having your rank and in a particular course there is a seat empty you can get that seat overall admission process is good if you are having marks and you are having the appropriate percentage you can get the admission there is nothing about donation or anything if you are having the marks you can get admission if you are you can't get admission...Read More

My experiences of university

The entire process after 12th was hosted on the ACPC website where the students can fill the colleges they want to enroll in and based on the merit cut-off the students get a final college in the Website,there are 2 rounds for such a choice filling and the 3rd round is the vacant round.Not much improvement needed ,just wanted that the government should improve the site with better options while filling the acpc choice filling for students.
