Remarks
College is really bad in many terms but management is really great since they do solve students problem.
Entrance Preview
I wanted a college that was near to my house so that I don't have to do up-down daily and this college was the nearest one hence I opted for this college. It was the only college in my town that had a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology available.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really lame but that because of the government of Gujarat does not have any interest in updating their course. Though we are in the Information Technology field for the first semester I have to learn subjects like Electrical, Mechanical, Physics etc which are really not useful to me. And the worst part, there is literally not even a single computer related subject in the curriculum of the first semester.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am in the first semester I don't know much about the internship programs of our college but as I have heard from my seniors that most of the companies that visit our local companies.
Placement Experience
Since I am in the first semester I don't know much about placement and job opportunities but they have the literally bad scope of placing students in well recognized companies because their level of recognition in placement is very bad. Most of the companies that visit are not great and offer a job at very low salaries.
College Events
College does celebrate all the major festival's as well as major day's. They celebrated Navratri in the college, Swachta Abhiyaan by making students clean the campus, Engineer's Day by arranging various competitions in the college. They also have an annual celebration and a week-long sports week.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is expensive for courses like Information Technology and Computer Science which is about ?66,500 per year while the rest of the engineering courses like Mechanical, Civil, etc have an annual fee of ?45,000. Also, they don't pay for any extra things like forms, notes, etc and make students pay for them summing to ?1000 per semester in miscellaneous costs.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, they do not provide any scholarship's from the college and to be honest they don't really inform about government offerings as well.
Campus Life
Campus life is great since we do have 2 great big lawns in front of our building and there is greenery in the whole college making it a real bearable place. The gender ratio is much equal as there is almost the same amount of students in both the genders. They don't organize many extracurricular activities like robotics etc but quizzes and gaming are organized. They are great since a lot of students participate in them.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities are average since they provide really bad beds in rooms also hostel's architecture is not so good. Buildings do not require that much maintaining right now but they should really paint the walls. Electricity is not a problem here since we do get the 24x7 connection in our building. Mess Food is also good.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors do not practice misbehavior like ragging with juniors and that is really great. There is seriously no problem in that conduct of business that is inappropriate but most of the seniors do not have a goal or recognized skills in terms of their field and really goof around having no absolute goal in their life.
Exam Structure
Exam Structure is very hectic. They conduct 3 Mid-Semester in a single semester which literally makes no sense, to be honest. Also, course completion is very slow paced and most of the course is left for students to self-study. Hence making it really tedious to complete syllabus.
Admission
I applied for the college directly in offline as I had a relative working in the admission department. Though there is an option available if you want to take admission from an online site. In process of admission, I had to take my 12th result and some passport sized photos with me and as soon as I paid an admission fee of ?5000 I got admission.
Faculty
Faculty of college is mixed as there are an extremely good teacher as well as an extremely bad teacher. Teacher's like Manisha Prajapati (Calculus) have the very good grip over mathematics hence they explain it really well without any mistakes but contrary to them Apoorva Prajapati (EEE) have literally no idea of what they are even actually teaching.
