Genuine review from a Genuine Student.

The course is designed by RGPV University and it was done way back, not many changes has been made to the course. My branch CSE-AIML is a new branch and has some new elective subjects which are very hard to find over the network. The subjects that are teached here does prepare you for future opportunities but still there are many things to learn, In every six months exam occurs over a period of month.

Teachers encourage students to take part in Smart India Hackathon which is a government organised hackathon to solve real world problems. Participating in SIH gives students a lot of experience about how industry works. In third year college offers many internship opportunities from companies like Cisco, Salesforce, Accenture, etc.

Students are eligible for placement from 7th Semester. Many companies visit LNCT for placement purposes like TCS, Infosys, VMWare, Cisco, etc. Most students try to get a placement off-campus as they offer high packages. The highest package was off-campus of 1.12 Crore, and on-campus was of 22 LPA of 26 students in Deutsche Bank. Not all students are able to get placed as the competition is very high and companies have a few job roles.

So the tuition fees depend on the branch you have taken, Civil and Mechanical does not cost that much but all Computer Science branches have a high fees. Tuition fee increases every year, when I took admission my fee structure was around 110000 and a additional 15000 compulsory amount for bus. Now this has hiked to around a tuition fee of 140000. Bus fees is not applicable for Civil and Mechanical students. Students can get a scholarship according to their cast like SC/ST and OBC which is approx 30000, only for same state students. Girls have some other special scholarships also.

College fests take place in LNCT time to time. There are DJ nights, sports and various cultural programs in which the student can take part and enjoy. Books are issued at the start of the year from the college library and other subject books of the student's interest can be borrowed from there for 15 days.

Hostels are the best part of college and are placed inside the college campus. There are rooms with 3 sharing, 2 sharing and one sharing with both AC and non AC. Rooms have attached washroom, study table, almirah, single bed for each person and a book shelf. Food is as same as other hostels food which is pretty average.

Give JEE exam Apply through MPDTE counselling If you want to take admission Without counselling then have a bag full of money. You can get the seat on the basis of reservation. There is one class called Tuition Fee Waiver where you pay a very small amount of fees if you have very good marks in JEE.

Many faculty members are genuinely very knowledgable in their respective feild regarding some that have no idea what they are teaching, these teachers are just asked my HOD's to teach the following subject even if they haven't studied it before. They learn from youtube the previous day from the lecture and then teach it the next day. Student can approach the teacher any time, even after the college.
