Remarks

Management is improving every day and if this college rises from here now, it will be because of management because that's the only thing left for improving as rest of the things like faculties & curriculum are more than what one requires.

Entrance Preview

Because my rank fell into it's category. Also, I didn't want to move out of Ahmedabad. Had a few good reviews of it from friends and it looked quite decent on a first glance. And eventually, my decision to enroll in this college turned out to be right.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Pretty moderate but if one wants to study profusely, he will have to select his own electives rather than what college chooses for him/her. The course isn't intensive. One can easily focus and heed to every subject and still take out time for extracurricular activities.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do provide but I hadn't taken one. They provide in the last year of B.E.. I have no idea about the stipend

Placement Experience

2.5

Quite mediocre. Not much to expect. High-salaried jobs shouldn't be expected nor should one expect MNCs. Most of the companies who come to recruit are local ones. The rest depends upon the candidate to manifest his skills and come out with the tag of 'Employed'

College Events

3

Several programs like cult fest, sports week and tech fest are arranged every year. 'Panache' is the cultural fest of our college. I must say, the auditions are not unbiased, when it comes to cult fest. Tech Fest and Sports Week give equal opportunities to every student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is similar to those of the similar colleges of the city. One who really aspires to be an engineer & doesn't have a strong financial background, should drop his idea of this college. It's pretty expensive if compared to govt. colleges. But equivalent when compared with other colleges of the city.

Fees and Financial Aid

ACPC provides tuition fee waiver to it's affiliated colleges, of which SAL is one and it's of great help.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life's good. One can get the actual feel of what he/she has seen while growing up. Boys are much more than girls when compared, despite both the sexes being in humongous numbers. Labs are productive. Competitions are held all round the year and they are helpful in recognizing individual's strengths

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Haven't experienced any of it. But at a glance, one can say that the hostel rooms are not much clean and well kept. There's no mess. Just a college canteen. Canteen Contractors keep changing. Overall the food taste and quality can be termed to average.

Alumni/Alumna

Never been in touch with them. There's a particular political student group actively working for students in the campus.

Exam Structure

It's good enough to make sure that students pass out the semesters. Although, the systems got a bit tougher than the previous ones. Guess that would be good for the newcomers. Multiple midsemesters have the total course divided, which help the students on every chapter.

Admission

Through ACPC Merit List. It automatically selects us a college by coinciding our preferences of college with colleges based upon our rank. ACPC in both the mock rounds, gave me this college. So either I had to enroll in this college or I could go for the third round it but I decided to stay up with this college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are extremely helpful and talented. They helped us not just in academics, but with pertinent real-world applications of our field too. They provided us the correct knowledge,be it legible or not and lifely guidance was always provided to us whenever we were in a dilemma.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
