My Thoughts about Karunya

The couse or syllabus of Karunya University is different from other Engineering Collages as it is a deemed University.This is quiet good because they only focus on the required subjects of the course elected by the student and will not compell the students to study unwanted subjects and also the curriculum prepares each and every student for real-world application and also use the most advanced features for education.Only difficulty i faced is that they have frequent exams after every month and these marks are added up in the semester results.When you have more subjects the time for revision would be less.

Internship is one of the most important thing done by this University as they have made internship as a course in the academics. Internships are compulsory .The Instituion itself provides internship oppurtunities for students who are willing to stay back during the summer vacation.Each students are given internships based on the course they have elected.

In Karunya University students from 3rd year are eligible for placements if they could crack the interview.The companies that visit Karunya for placemnts include Infosys,Wipro etc .Many students from Karunya have recieved high salary package upto Crores per annum.Currenty they say that all students of Karunya are getting placed either through campus interview or other ways.My plan after my degree is to get placed with a high package job through Karunya.

As of my knowledge there is no increase in tuition fee every year. I also don't think that the fees here is very high because they are providing enough for what we are giving them.There are various scholarship programs available at Karunya based on 12th Marks and also one will get scholarship if he is a relative to any student of Karunya.My Course which is B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering tuition fees is 2.8 lakh per year and i recieve a scholarship of 40000 every year because of my 12th marks.

The campus life at Karunya is very pleasant as it guarentees all security for students, There is no alcohol or drugs here.Ragging is strictly prohibites in the collage.There are various groups for welfare of the students.There are many clubs run by the students of Karunya like AI club,Cybersecurity Club etc which are beneficiary for the students here.This particular institution promotes sports and all types of extracurricular activities and also have won many trophies in various fields.There is programs like NCC and NSS as well.

There are sepeate hostel for each year boys near the collage and girls have hostels in a single compound.There are AC as well as Non AC rooms available .Wifi is also provided in the hostels.There are 5 different food mess in the hostel which provides different kinds of food which include Kerala Mess,South Mess,North Mess,Andhra Mess and NRI mess.The Hostels are located near the collage itself and is only walkable distance far.

Since this is a private institute the admission are open for any student whi passes the entrance exam conducted by Karunya University.Every instruction for admisson like the application form,fees,dates etc are available in the official website of Karunya University.The exams here are conducted every month like an internal exam and the semester exam will be conducted at the last of each semster which every student have to write for 100 marks.All admission process are very easy and i did not find any issue.

The faculties of Karunya Insitute of Technology and Science are well trained and educated. They are also very friendly with the students as they provide maximum support for students do bring out innovative ideas and also in making good projectsTeaching and mentorships are also very good.All faculties are approchable through mobile phones anytime.
