Course Curriculum Overview

The reason I chosed the vims medical college is the incoming of patients is lot so we can learn perfectly to become a good doctor. We can learn about all most all diseases correctly and get opportunity to treat them.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As it is a medical college of course we should do internship in our college hospital itself. May be we get 40000 per month for working here. Sometimes it will be night shift for us . All departments are good at teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure about college is 60000 and hostel fee will be almost 40000 per year. Extra 5000 for all internals preparation for them . We get only government scholarship no more than that per year.

Campus Life

In my college everything is good like teaching, infrastructure, cultural events etc . Every year I will participate in college function like dance and sports. Everyone are good at something here all will enjoy a lot.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good . We have four building for girls and five for boys . We get good and hygiene food in mess. Hostel is maintained clean . Everyday they wash bathroom and rooms even corridor also.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Because it is a top 4tg college cut off is high . At my time it was upto 550 for general merit students. Admission process is easy 1st time fees should be paid with cheque. And all documents are compulsory.

Vims medical college is top 4th Medical college in Karnataka because of its teaching skills by professor. They are so good in each topic and try to makes us understand very well . Even in Postings teaching is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
