I liked the way of faculties they guide us
I liked the placements process which is very smooth and easy

I don't like the way of security guards they treat
I don't like there delay process as they keep on delaying the students

Course Curriculum Overview

I think instead of theoretical knowledge, students should be given practical knowledge like for a business analyst specialization in bba, they should be thought about the softwares i.e. power bi, excel

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come for the internship and also provide a handsome incentive. In my course DE.SHAW Co. came to provide internship for 2month with stipend of 30k per month which was very good and the role was also good they were providing

Placement Experience

In last year of the course, students are eligible to sit in placement drives but they should not be having any backlogs in any previous semester, highest package is 50lakh approx is average package is 3-4lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

There are plenty of ways to get scholarship..the first one is from your higher secondary school marks , the second one is to get scholarships from cucet exam. Fees is quite justified but if we get scholarships then definitely for a middle class student,this university is best

Campus Life

My campus life was great. I met new people from different countries and cultures. All are very good. Here we can get a good exposure. The way of teaching of faculties is also good and is understandable

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good but the thing is student has to pay atleast 40-50% of the hostel fees in order to book his confirmation of the hostel. The quality of food is also good . Wardens of the hostel are also friendly and supportive

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Admission process is very smooth and easy. For any eligibility, a basic requirement is there which is 60% min in there higher secondary school marks or in graduation marks or min 50% marks in cucet for good scholarships

Faculty

In a class there are approx 70-80 students or max 100 , the atmosphere is very good. One can get to know about the other from different diversity and culture . Faculty guide us in good manner and also mentoring session are held

Placement Experience:

Students at LPU become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Many top companies visit, offering varied profiles with competitive packages. A good percentage of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue higher studies and career growth.

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Placement Experience:

students are being eligible for placements from the 2nd last semester. there are more than 500 companies listed on the campus for placements, and some of them are Wipro, Amazon, Taj and much more, and no. Of offers made by these companies are more than 2000. The highest package is 37LPA, Average is 4-5LPA. And profiles are being offered according to course and specification. It's almost 80% and above for the students who are willing to get placed. After getting the degree I'm looking forward to a master degree.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end. The documentation and councelling were done efficiently and I received my admission confirmation within few days....Read More
