Good college with some pros and cons

Curriculum of particularly of CSE department is fairly relevant with the real world scenario. But college is trying hard to cop up on that point as they introduced the curriculum with some latest technologies like blockchain technology etc, so the students can learn latest technologies and cop up with the real world scenario.

Real world internship opportunities from college can be improved. As I didn't opt for training and internship program from college so I don't have any experience of internship experience from college. Students have to rely mainly on off campus opportunities and on reference basis to land a real world internship.

As I am currently in 3rd year of my course, so am not eligible for commenting on placements of college but I have some senior friends and I will be sharing their experience towards placement and placement cell of college. Students are eligible to get placement once they are in the final year of that course.for 2024 batch the highest package was from carwale which offered 9 LPA for software engineering and testing roles, hexaware is a massive recruiter that visits campus every year, on campus placement Percentage is low but students benefit from the industrial ecosystem offered by the city of Indore. Average package is around 4 LPA and it has be stagnant since years.

Fees structure of CSE is on the higher end as compared to the current placement scenario of the college. Fees can be reduced, so it will be more affordable to the students and with relevance to placement, it is the important to think on such issue, as I am in contact with some seniors and their experience with placement cell was not so good.

Students are encouraged to establish, run and engage in various social and technical club, Providing them a chance to participate in non- academic extra curricular activities. Library is big enough to accommodate large number of students. Classrooms are largely traditional a range of sports amenities are available on campus, but there availability is limited as the facilities are shared with the school.

Admission is via MPDTE website counselling. As I am a lateral entry student so for the admission of lateral entry students the cutoff is fairly low. And overall admission process is smooth. Admission cell is cooperative towards students.

Faculties are approachable and cooperative but not all some are just rude and egoistic don't know why..but overall teachers and head faculties, coordinators are helpful towards students and are more cooperative.
