Remarks

The college is good only if you can learn by yourself. If you want to depend only on the faculty, then better join some private colleges. The college gives students an environment that provides sustainable growth of an individual on hos own by providing guidance. The library facility is good and we have wifi access all over college and in hostels. Overall it is a place to grow better and become and responsible citizen

Entrance Preview

This is ranked best among top engineering colleges in andhra pradesh. It is a state government university. It provides self learning opportunity where we read most of the things from textbook. So it helps us in facing situations.it also provides good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was versed with latest IIT madras syllabus. It has got good labs and nice subjects inculcated into the syllabus. The main area is we have electives where we can choose some subjects of our like. These electives start from the 3rd year.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesnt provide internship. We have to search on our own. But they will give letter from HOD to pursue intern.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not very well, infact to be real they are average. We 2018 batch has very less placements. The placement officer was not so responsible about the future of the students. Infosys, wipro, capgemini, L&T and some other IT companies are the most frequent recruiters. I hope the upcoming placement officer will take that responsibility and bring good companies.

College Events

4

We have very few college events. Generally every we have department day in the month of february. We have sports event like inter molars, inter university tournaments. Freshers day is common for all the freshers in the month of august. Fairwell party for seniors will take place in the month of march.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very reasonable for the EAMCET entry students. They have the fee of 10,000 per year. That too if they have reservation, they can get back that amount through government funded scholarships. For students who enter through AUEET has a fee of 1,50,000 per year. They also get 20,000 scholarship every year of they are financially backward

Fees and Financial Aid

Our university offers central sector scheme if scholarship for meritious students. They also provide state governments jnanabhumi scholarship for the financially backward students. Some part of hostel fee is also reimbursed.

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are not so well equipped. They have the apparatus but they wont open them. They will keep it for future generations. That is the main backdrop. Sports facilities are good. We have basketball, volleyball courts, cricket practise net and a big cricket ground. Each hostel has its own volleyball court and tennis court inside it. Techno activities happen regularly providing workshops, seminars on various technologies.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels here are good for that price. The hostel fee is 22,000 per year. We have different type of varieties every day. North indian food is unavailable. Only south indian is available. They will provide room on twin share basis with a wooden table, iron cot, one chair, tubelight and fan. Rooms are small. Daily cleaning is available.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a great alumni starting from the "sarvepalli radhakrishnan", our vice president "Venkiah naidu", ap state minister "ganta srinivasa rao", GMR group chairman "Grandhi mallikarjuna rao", ex governer of RBI " Duvvuri subbarao" etc....they always are helpful to the university by providing various resources.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is in semester wise. We have semester for every 6 months. The college starts every year in the month of July and ends in april. We usually have 1st semester in the month of november and 2nd semester in the month of April starting with the 4th years to 1st years.

Admission

I have attempted AUEET exam which is for dual degree B.Tech+M.Tech. i secured 358 rank and i have opted for ECE branch. There is also another way to get in this university i.e through AP-EAMCET. those who come through EAMCET possess only B.Tech degree

Faculty

3

There is shortage of faculty. Our ECE department has only 5 professors and 2 assistant professors. Research scholars teach us. Professors rarely come to teach students. Faculty wise it is not a good institute. Better join only if you think you can learn by yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
