Likes
- Vishwakarma University has a pleasant environment. The students crowd is pretty decent and helps us to be motivated throughout the day. The aura is nice and the people around are friendly. There's always a positive vibe in the campus.
- When it comes to faculty , I would say that it's 7 out of 10. Some faculty is amazing while some are fine. The faculty overall helps whenever we go with a problem and try taking us to a conclusion. They are always in aood to hear new ideas from us.
- The classrooms are nice and spacious. The new floor build in our eco campus is just amazing. Fully air conditioned, amazing tables and chairs , nice lightning and charging cable at each table is what a student dream of. Keeps us motivated.
Dislikes
- No matter how good the energy is , sometimes it just gets boring around the campus. There's barely any events happening that's wants us to join it. No interesting events. It gets boring till the end of the week.
- The campus is not great 4 out of 10. So boring and nothing fun around. The college doesn't provide great internship or job as of now. The syllabus is very basic. New things should be thought that challenges us to do something new and creative everyda
- Some of the faculty isn't great. It feels as if they need to be thought few of the things. Faculty keeps on changing too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite easy and understandable. It's very much practical knowledge throght books and teachers provides us ppts and PDFs and refers us books. There's online study material provide no hard books are purchased. The curriculum can be done a little difficult by which I mean there should be things that will be helpful in future which can be though in graduation. There should be practical knowledge and practicals. Students should be motivated by the curriculum.
Placement Experience
The placements are provided by the college sometimes , depending on the employment opportunities around the country. It's not that great but it's fine. Companies like HDFC Bank , shoppers stop etc have been on the campus. The highest package was around 35 lakhs for year. I am going to do some internships from outside as college doesn't provide such opportunities. And then will look for a job in 3rd year and will also give job interviews in college campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee for BBA is 1,50,000/year. It's a 3+1 year degree. There's siblings discount available and a few more which have no idea. There is exam fees 2 times a year of each sem. Exam fee varies from the subjects to subjects. I have paid average of 1500 in 2 sems fir my first year.
Campus Life
Aarambh is help in September. It is the welcome of freshers. Vishwayaan is the main event that happens around March , it is a 3 day event that starts from morning and ends around 8 in night. It's not that fun. So many rules and regulations. The event organised is great but the events happening are okish. There's also sports events and trophys are distributed. The extracurricular activities held are very less. Very minimum comparitively to other colleges.
Admission
The admission was quite simple. There was an entrance test but I had skipped it and took direct admission. All the process can be done online , easily and smoothly. One can find all the things related to admission on their official website vishwakarma University. I feel that there is no proper admission exam and it's quite linient , it should get a little more professional.
Faculty
The faculty is quite nice. It also depends on person to person but overall they help us everytime we reach out to them. They also take personal interactions with students if they lack in it. The faculty of our department is better than the others is what I have heard around the campus and I feel the same.
