Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are very relevant and full of knowledge. Also the provide us NPTEL course from IIT's which is one of the best part of the university. Also they provide free coursera licence till the semester ends.

Placement Experience

The placements of Chandigarh University is very good as it offers upto 90 to 95 percent of placements to all the students. We can really appreciate the on campus placements of Chandigarh University. They start providing placements from 7th sem and sometimes from 5th sem also.

Fees and Financial Aid

In chandigarh University you also get a benefit of scholarship by appearing for a paper that is conducted by Chandigarh University only the name of that exam is cucet. The semester fees is 106000 and also 2500 examination fees every semester.

Campus Life

The campus life of Chandigarh University is very cheerful and enthusiastic and if talk about the club life then I can bet you that you will definitely enjoy the club and social life of Chandigarh University. There are many inter University clubs for various departments.

The hostels provided by the chandigarh University are very good . The environment of the hostel is very enjoy full and cheerful. The wardens are very helpful in all types of situations. I bet you will really love the hostel life of Chandigarh University.

Admission

In Chandigarh University there is very unique pattern of cutoff if you have scored 90 percentage or above then you can get 50 percentage of scholarship. There is no particular cutoff of any outside entrance exam .

Faculty

The faculties are highly educated and are very sincere. They are very enthusiastic and are very helpful for any kind of problem . Mine experience with teachers was very good and enjoy full too. Overall the faculties are very good and helpful.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
