Course Curriculum Overview

4

i have chosen the production engineering course because the course is much easier and the work load is much less as compared to other branches. so it gives me the time to explore many domains such as consultancy, IT, buisness and much more. the course itself has promosing career oppurtunities in operation research, supply chain management and various other field. we have 2 cycle tests and one end semester exam. the question paper is set by our own faculties, so it is easy most of the time.

Placement Experience

3.5

from 3rd year we will be going through internship placements and big companies such as amazon, microsoft, uber, mckinsey, png, larsen and turbo, dr reddy's, indian oil, bharat petroleum, cpc, ipc, and much more have visited with highest package of 55 lpa by microsoft. the average package depends on the department, for the circuital depts it is aronud 24lpa, whereas for non circuital it is 14 lpa. usually over 96% gets placed. my plan after degree is to take a job and then go for highers

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuition fees comes upto 1,30,000 each year and along with hostel fees and other amenities , it comes around 3 lakhs. the tuition fee might hike each year with not so significant amount. there are scholarships for the economically weaker section where they dont have to pay tuition fees there is smmer internship in campus for the student which has a stipend of 10000

first we have to appear for the exam JEE mains, though which the admission process for nits and other colleges take place. after clearing the cutoff, we will going through JOSAA counselling which has many rounds. we have fill our preffered courses and go through 7 rounds of josaa in which we will be allocated a seat in each round. then we can also go for the 8th round through CSAB counselling. we have to pay around 1000rs for the registeration fees for josaa and application fees is around 40000rs which will later be compensated in the college fees, reservation of various class such as OBC,SC,ST,EWS,pwd are there and the closing rank will be much higer than the general category ones. the admission process is too long but other than that it is very effective and efficient

Faculty

3.5

all the faculties have docterate and hence are very knowledgeable in their field. apart from faculties, we have scholars who are pursuing their master and research in their respective field, they will come and take classes and are given full authority as the professors. The method of teaching is completely faculty dependant. some are good while some are bad. they are friendly and are open to doubts all the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
