Problem with campus infrastructure like old buildings, laboratories, inadequate housing options and lack of transportation facility within the campus.
Fewer opportunities of internships, research and networking due to the niche field

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is in accordance to competitive exams and with the entrance exams of university for masters. There is no pressure of Syllabus on the students as syllabus is designed to be finished in adequate time .

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Internships Opportunities

RAWE is the name of internship conducted in 4th year of the course. One component is rural training where students need to learn about practical understanding of farm activities and other component is industrial training where student learns about industrial application of agriculture

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this course is almost Rs16000 per annul and needs to be paid per semester I.e. Rs 8000 per semester. Complete course fees are around Rs 48000 The scholarship offered by the university is Rs 800 for boys and Rs 1200 for girls I.e. per month but the minimum eligibility is 7 CGPA in the previous semester. Other scholarships were offered NSP portal, they can also be availed.

Campus Life

University offers you a lot of opportunities to strengthen your social skills by conducting a lot of cultural events Classrooms are equipped with high end lecture boards and computer smart classes for better understanding of students

Admission

The university conducts its own entrance exam in hisar city, forms are available after the 12th result on the university website Application fees are rs 1000 Difficulty level is moderate Eligibility is science in 12th or equivalent

Faculty

The university has incredible faculty to student ratio as there are numerous number of teaching faculty. The teaching faculty is well qualified and everyone is Phd(doctorate) in their field. Teachers are easily approachable as one can reach out to them even after working hours.

Placement Experience:

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Remarks:

It is a reputed university. Have a good education facility and agriculture course. That's why I choose this university. Also this University have an affordable fees structure and a very neat and clean enviroment in campus.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
