Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is very appropriate in the way it must be taught. The curriculum covers all the aspects that prepare one for the real world applications and also help in further academic pursuits. My suggestion would be that, the course curriculum must be more practical than theoretical. It should be more than classroom learning and should adapt the modern inputs. The frequency and timing of exams is appropriate as they are scheduled and are scheduled as per the difficulty level so there is no issue

Placement Experience

2.5

The students of 7th and 8th semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, iffco, Coca cola visit the campus. The highest package was around 20lpa and average was 4 lpa. The placement percentage is very low (30% approx.) and needs to be improved. Most of the students appear for gate and other government examinations.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of KNIT is 40K per year, which to me is lower than even some government colleges and there is no such hike on a frequent basis. The approximate college fee is 78K per year including hostel fees and all other charges which costs around 350000 for the whole course. Mess fee of 20K is charged for every semester. Along with UP govt scholarship, there is a separate alumni based scholarship and the students can apply for various other scholarships. The campus placement needs an improvement.

Campus Life

3.5

The cultural fest of the college is Anubhuti, the sports fest is Tvaran and the technical fest is effulgence. There are held during October to February depending on the academic schedule. Almost all the required book for the college course are available in the library. The college provides good facilities in the classroom, like smart boards, projector, etc. The college does not offer any sports coach or anything. The students themselves manage the sports. There are many clubs, social groups and councils run by students which play a major role in shaping the students' persona.

Hostel Facilities

3

In a room the students are provides with fans and lights only, along with a cupboard. The food provided is just fine and seasonal changes are made a post the students' requests. Registration process is quiet easy and even the fees is less than other private hostels. You can rest a room or a PG just outside the college campus.

Admission

The admissions are based on JEE mains percentile and UPTAC counselling. The cut off is released every year by the counselling authorities. If you get the seat, You simply have to fill the admission form in the college and submit the fee that's it. For every semester there are 2 mid-sem and one end-sem exam.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is quiet adequate and seriously it doesn't affect much to the learning experience because most of the students prefer self study. Faculty has a good way of teaching and try to give their best to the students from their knowledge. Teachers are approachable easily, You can text them or call them and they will give you time slots to meet them.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.
