- The first i liked was that my college was easily accessible for me to reach out as it is just 20 km from my home.
- The college has highly qualified faculties.
- Great campus life with lots of tech events and often programs and celebrations.
Dislikes
- Doesn't get good placement offers. The average is from 3.5 to 5 lpa max.
- The quality of infrastructure is not of top class. Just an average with basic labs and workshops.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because i had more interest in computer science. The college curriculum doesn't prepare us for real world applications. It just for scoring in exams and getting the degree. We will only get the basics of every aspects in computer science. There will be two series or internal exam and one semester or external exam in each semester with total 8 semesters each including average average 6 papers and two practical labs.
Internships Opportunities
In the college i didn't got any internship offers. Ihad done some paid internships which was online. And talking its experience is really bad. I couldn't build much skills and its almost a waste of time.
Placement Experience
From 6 the semester students get eligible for college placements. Lots of companies come for offering. Many of which will be startup companis. Also companies like tcs, cognizant etc come and privide good offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for each year is 40000 rs for merit students, 70000rs for management quota students and 100000 rs for NRI quota students. I had joined the college in merit quota, so i only had to pay 40000 per year in which i had a egrants scholarship of 15000 each year.
Campus Life
The best thing i like about my college is the social life. Here we celebrate each and every events together without any senior junior difference. All are given roles and responsibilities. Recently we have conducted a national level tech fest in which each and students and faculties involved and showed their presence in making the event success.
Admission
I had been admission to the merit quota. Which was based on my keam rank which was 33000. This rank is calculated by averaging 12th marks and keam entrance exam marks in pcb subjects. The application process is a very lag tedious process. We need to gather many documents and reach out to separate counters for confirmation which is very lagging. I think half of the process could be done through online
Faculty
The college as whole has a good faculty strength. Considering our information technology department doesn't have any phd qualified faculty but other departments like computer science, mechanical etc includes phd qualified faculties. Many of the departments are NBA accredited. Our teachers have very friendly attitude towards student. We have could reach out to them any time and anywhere.
