Course Curriculum Overview

The course selectiwon of University is really very good. There are interactive classes but you also have to show some interest. Number of classes of any particular course in a semester is very less about 240-260 total classes are supposed to happen. There should be increased in this number There are internal assessment test online ,mid term and end term offline

Internships Opportunities

Till now I don't got any of the internship. But I had gone for an industrial visit at Cognizant Gurugram by university. It was really very good session. I also had worked on many of the projects in the college

Placement Experience

I really don't know about the placement criteria I just know that many companies are coming to college for hiring students but students are not qualifying the companies first and technical round. Deserving students got placed with very good offers Average package is about 3 to 4 lpa Highest for this year is 39 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees structure is tution fees 1,49,000 and 10,000 exam fees. Fees is fixed for all four year. Total four year fees that I had to pay is 636000 I had got scholarship from UP scholarship scheme about 55 thousands. If any student got above 93 percent in 12th boards they will get 25 percent fees relaxation from University

Campus Life

I don't have good social life in college as I had not joined any of the clubs. I think that affects my studies. But there are more than 20 clubs of different fields. Students can join it and can have fun and good social life

Admission

Eligibility for btech is only you should have 60 percent marks in PCM You can find application form from University website Exams are held 2 time majorily during a semester and it difficulty level is hard

Faculty

Faculties are very cooperative and interactive with students. There are more than 40 50 faculties for a course. You can contact faculty if you facing any kind of problem. You can go to their cabin or text him

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
