Likes
- The infrastructure is good big library is provided. Cricket ground and volleyball court is also available.
- Faculties are qualified professionals who are available for your help and query.
- Hostel mess food tastes delicious and nutritious. It maintain health factors. Rooms are also cleaned and maintained.
Dislikes
- The college should prvide particular room for music clubs and dance clubs . The auditorium is very small
- The teacher behaviour is not too good. Backlogs and detention are tiring for students. Students have to maintain 50% per semester.
- The hostel room are very conjsuted and fees rate is very high compared to other colleges. There is not much facilities provided. Students are restricted to go out after 7pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is up to date and gets updated every year so that students can pace up with the dynamic change in technical environment. The exams are easy to write. Improvement are needed in exam backlogs as they make you fail whole semester, that much strictness is there
Internships Opportunities
Very few internship are offered which are mostly unpaid. The top roles offered are software developer, AI. Engineer, machine learning intern etc. The student can do research based projects with their faculties but it is for final year students only. You can get off campus summer internship with your skills if you believe in yourself
Placement Experience
The placement rate is 70 percent only. You have to go to main campus for placement which is very far from our campus. Both campus students are merged there which increases the competition. Top recruiter company at our college are Google, infosys TCS, cognizant etc. The highest package offered by them is 29 Lpa and average package a student get is between 6 to 8 Lpa. I applied for off campus placement offer and got a good job with satisfactory package for which i improved my skills. The network with alumini can get you good placement offr.
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall fees is very high compared to other colleges in NCR. There's not much facilities provided by authorities so that's not worth it. There is regular hike of fees every year maybe by 5 to 6%. The complete cost of my education was 8 lakhs in which extra charges are not included like tution fees and exams fees. The scholarship are available for many students, i did not get scholarship but they provide study abroad program and also covers financial aid. I have taken off campus job offer so can't comment on that.
Campus Life
Monthly 3-4 events are held here. Some famous events are Roobaru, freshers, game event,sports day etc. These festival are very enjoyable and fun. Reward are also given to deserving candidates. Classroom are spacious with comfortable seating area. There's volleyball cort, cricket ground and gym in our college. Necessary trainings are also provided by coach. Social group always conduct many campaign for our environment.
Admission
BTech here is entrance based. They conduct their own entrance exam SRMJEE which is of same level as jee if you have cleared the basics you can easily score good. The students with vaild scores in JEE can get directly admission and doesn't required to give entrance exam.
Faculty
Faculties are highly qualified professionals, they'll help you whenever you need. But the thing is they lack in practical knowledge. For students both theoretical and practical knowledge are needed. Otherwise teaching here is really good
