Course Curriculum Overview

I am a CA student and hence I chose Bcom for graduation as it's not complicated and can be done side by side !! It can be studied very easily !! Even without books you can study by just watching online lectures!!

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the fee is 6000 for general category students per year !! So around 20000/- total for this course for 3 yrs !! Scholarship is available for students whose parents income is below 250000 pa !! They get huge concession in fees and also study material !! Most affordable course for graduation

Campus Life

Campus is very huge !! They also have social grps of students like NSS unit , environmental unit , etc !! Extracurricular activities are the main highlight of this college !! Library is accessible to all !! And books can also be rented from there !!! Annual fests are usually in December!!

Admission

Eligibility - 12th pass Application forms are available on the college website and also mumbai university form u have to fill !! Cut off is very low !! For general category it's around 60% in 12th !! They can improve their addmission process as it's a bit complicated !!

Faculty

teachers are great but sometimes they take unnecessary activities!! Interaction between students and teacher is too good !! They are always available for students !! They are well qualified and their approach of teaching is friendly!!

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Good faculty and infrastructure

Well, I didn't apply to any other college, Vartak has always been my first preference because the quality of studies is considerably good in here and secondly, as I live in Virar this college is close to me as compared to any other ( with good quality education) and travelling to college takes only about 25-30 minutes from my home. The admission process weren't tedious at all, I took admission last year (2023-2024) for FYBSC and the cut-off for first merit list was around 74 percent, I got my name in first list ( my percent was 77) also their wasn't any entrance exam essential for admission it was entirely merit- based hence, for me the admission experience was very good....Read More
